Help Requested - "Time-Slot" Delay for Crossover StrategyHello Tradingview Community,
I've been playing around with some various volume-based indicators, and recently have been experiencing a delay in the entries for my strategy for 2 minutes in this scenario. If the time is adjusted, it also is delayed 2 bars.
In this example, the "Short" position should enter when the blue line Crosses under the upper green line, and visa vera for the "Long" position. A simplified Pine Script is available below as well.
I have Googled this issue and attempted to modify the code with => criteria instead, but too no avail. Would appreciate any help or anyone who could point me in the right direction on this Time Delay Issue. Thanks!

Multiple Security Average VolumeCame up with an idea to show an average volume of up to 6 securities together. Helps when looking at Bitcoin with its multiple exchanges.
Stiffness IndicatorThis indicator was originally developed by Markos Katsanos (Stocks & Commodities, V.36:12 (November, 2018): "The Stiffness Indicator").

The Normalizer [BVCC]The Normalizer adds an indicator to your chart with the option to view regular Volume, normalized Volume or normalized price.
Normalized Volume divides the current Volume bar into a moving average and multiplies by 100. The resulting plot is a histogram showing how far above or below the moving average that volume bar was.
Normalized Price does the exact same thing, but uses the close price of the current candle.
The result of a normalized bar chart is that sometimes activities of unusually low or high patterns can be seen that are not obvious when looking at the standard data points.
Customizable Settings include;
1) Check/Uncheck the first box to set the view to Volume or Price
2) Check 'Normalize' when on Volume to toggle between standard Volume and Normalized Volume
3) Price is always Normalized
4) Normalization is calculated from the SMA and the default is set to 9 - John Bollinger suggest setting this to 50
5) Normalization period can be set with the 'Period' option
This indicator was created for members of the BVCC trading community as an example of the normalization methods described in John Bollinger's "Bollinger on Bollinger Bands". Mr. Bollinger talks extensively about normalization and specifically volume normalization. I added the price normalization as a fun bonus just because. :)
Cumulative Force IndexVolume indicator adapted from Elder's Force Index.

Trader Set - Volume MetricThe last tool in my methodology set, another one of those tools that has unique unpublished formulas, this one purely for following volume and reading smart money's hand, YES it's possible. This indicator has few Alerts built in that you can use, will update the rest of the scripts for additional alerts. You can easily set the alert to play a sound that is not disturbing in long run and check mark open ending and have easy time being alerted when some crossings are happening.
Please, don't ask for access, only my students from my classes will have access to this indicator. The English version of the website and learning material is under development and the moment they get ready I will announce it under each related script.
Ultimate Volume (UV) Supply/Demand Absorption [cI8DH]This is a variant of my ADV indicator which adds low/high volume trend, supply/demand absorption detection and separate buy/sell volume moving averages. When aggregation is set to cumulative, it can replicate my ADL indicator as well. It shows both regular volume bars and the accumulated/distributed (A/D) portions of volume.
Green line shows buy volume/accumulation and red line shows sell volume/distribution. This can help with assessing buy/sell pressure (read "why invent a new indicator" for more info about why this is more accurate than CMF , MFI, OBV and Williams AD for this purpose).
Volume trend shows high and low volume periods in blue and yellow respectively. This could help with avoiding over-trading during low market activity periods.
Supply/demand absorption is shown at the top (below volume trend). It shows that market is resisting the trend which could most often lead to sideways or minor/major trend change. Darker colors show stronger resistance. This feature is configured with two parameters that might require tuning depending on the asset and time frame.
The equation to calculate accumulation/distribution (A/D) is elegant and intuitive. It calculates candle body to candle height ratio and multiplies it by volume: volume*(close-open)/(high-low). This is the building block of my three other indicators ADMF , ADP and ADL ( UMF includes all these three indicators). The volume bars has two shades of green and red. The dark shade shows amount of A/D and the light shade shows total volume (what you see on a regular volume indicator).
When money volume is enabled, volume is multiplied by price. As you can see in the chart below, trade volume in terms of USD was growing over the past years while it has not made a new ATH in terms of the instrument (BTC).
Notes
- Uncheck "Money Volume" for Bitmex or any other exchange that shows volume in terms of money.
- Smooth MA length N = EMA length 2*N-1
- Combined tickers, e.g. (COINBASE:BTCUSD+BITSTAMP:BTCUSD+KRAKEN:XBTUSD)/3, can mitigate inconsistency issues between different exchanges (I recommend not mixing USD and USDT pairs together)
Here is a TL;DR list of my indicators to save you some time from looking at my obsolete indicators.
