Hersheys Volume Pressure v1Hersheys Volume Pressure gives you very nice confirmation of trend starts and stops using volume and price.
For up bars...
If you have a large price range with low volume, that's very bullish.
If you have a small price range with low volume, that's bullish.
For down bars...
If you have a large price range with low volume, that's very bearish.
If you have a small price range with low volume, that's bearish.
Look at the chart and you'll see how trends start and end with a PINCH and widen in the middle of the moves.
Hersheys Volume Pressure is unique, in that it measures bull/bear pressure on each bar by itself. Other volume indicators like On Balnce Volume and Price Volume Trend use cumulative differences in the current and previous bar to show trends.
You can set the moving average period, 14 is the default.
Good trading!

Hersheys CoCo VolumeCoCo Volume shows you volume movement of your symbol after subtracting the movement from another symbol, preferrably the sector or market the stock belongs to.
My latest update to my CoCoVolume Indicator. It calculates today's volume percent over the 60 period average for both your symbol and index, and displays that difference. If the percent is over the max it highlights the color, showing BIG action for that stock.
The last version was calculating the percent volume difference from yesterday to today for the stock and index and displaying the difference. The prior method had large swings on low volume stocks... this one shows the independent volume action much better. The default values will suit most stocks.
You can set three variables...
- the index symbol, default is SPY
- the period for averaging, default is 60
- the max volume percent, default is 500
Good trading!

Action Section, Volatility Choppiness Indicator (by ChartArt)Here is a solution to find entry points to trade. This indicator highlights price sections with low choppiness, where both the ADX (Average Directional Index) indicator shows strong movement (up or down!) in the price and a customized Money Flow indicator (which uses only the change of the volume not the change of the price, hence a Volume Flow indicator), also shows volatility is present. Using higher filter values than the default setting of "30" reduces the noise, but also shows less 'action sections'. Vice versa using values lower than "30" increases the amount and duration of action sections which are shown.
The "action section" indicator does not show the direction if the price is going up or down. It shows if there is enough action worthy the time to trade (lower odds of a neutral sideways trend). Therefore in addition a Heikin-Ashi based price change indicator can optionally be plotted, which shows the actual direction of the price.
Action Section, High Volume Volatility & Low Price Choppiness Indicator
This indicator works only on charts which have volume data.
Hersheys CoCo VolumeThis simple but powerful indicator takes the volume changes from another symbol and removes them from your symbol, so you can compare stock/market or stock/sector or sector/market relationships.
When used together with Hersheys CoCo Bars, you get a very unique view of what's going on!
Good trading!

OBV IBOVOn Balance Volume is one of the most popular volume-based indicators and my favorite. In the absence of volume data for the IBOV I decided to construct the volume indicator and the OBV indicator based on that.
O On Balance Volume é um dos indicadores baseado em volume mais popular e o meu favorito. Na ausência de dados de volume para o IBOV resolvi construir o indicador de volume e o OBV baseado nele.
IBOV VOLUMEThe volume data for the Brazilian indices (IBOV, IBRA, IBXL, SMLL and.t.c.) are not available on TradingView temporarily. As I find the volume indicator very important to the technical analysis, decided to create a script that came to take over the lack of this indicator on TradingView, which is a great platform but have this temporary issue. The indicator is for the IBOV index and takes in count the last composite for the index (which is re-evaluated quaterly), so the for the oldest data it’s not useful, but for the last year are sufficient.
Elastic Volume Weighted Moving Average with Trend and EnvelopesElastic Volume Weighted Moving Average (EVWMA) with Trend and Envelopes.
Original version by LazyBear, trend function by Shizaru, combination by Spreadburn.
Volume per minimum tickThis script calculates the volume traded per minimum tick of a scrip and is an indicator that the price move is justified by volume and trader interest
[ST] obv adl combination v4modified equation using sum of volume*hlc3*(close-open)/(high-low) to give more accuracy of distribution within a single candle unlike regular obv.
cooltoyz: Volume Delta RealTime v1.0This is a tool, shows the volume variation % strength related to the X past candles.
The current candle is shown in real time, until candle closes.
The visualization of the candle time to close is a thin line, that is 100% for all past candles and slowly goes up for the current candle.
Best with an example:
with a 4h candle, 1 hour has wasted already. This is 25% of all the candle time. So, if volume is also at 25% of the last candles traded, we can expect(yeah, you wish) that by candle close, around 100% of the last volumes average will be traded.
Or two:
in a 4h candle, we're at 10mins., around 8% of total candle time. If volume traded is already at 57% of average past volumes, something big is going on.
Note 1: in the indicator's "Format" pop-up there is a "candle minutes" field, it MUST match the chart timeframe in minutes (ex: 4h=240min)
Note 2: the back volume function check can be switched between the methods "highest value" or "average", in the Format->inputs
Note 3: when a new candle opens, it will go craaayeeezeee!!, because the extreme small values introduce a lot of rounding errors. just let it go, it calms it self after ~0.5% of candle time has passed.
There are more examples and details in the early version of this indicator, check my published scripts.
DynamicSR DTI: Auto Support and Resistance AreaThis works only on charts with real volume...if it does work
Pump_Doctor Trends**You must enable bar colors in the options for the script if you wish to see them**
This indicator is very useful for spotting trends / tops / bottoms.
This is the ultimate altcoin pump spotting tool. Use on higher timeframes for greatest accuracy. If altcoin is newish (ZEC for example), try 4h rather than 1D or 3D.
Green = Uptrend
Red = Downtrend
Gray = Top/local top, bottom/local bottom, or continuation. You will need some knowledge of price action to determine which condition applies.
You can use the oscillator at the bottom as a measure of momentum / trend strength. You can draw trendlines on the oscillator on the top/bottom or the interior.
1337 VolumeThis volume indicator gives you a unique perspective and ability to analyze volume in any market. The upper line that is always >=0 represents average up volume over a user definable period while the lower line that is always <= 0 represents the average down volume over a user definable period.
green == bullish candle but volume lower than average
lime == bullish candle with above average volume
crimson == bearish candle with below average volume
red == bearish candle with above average volume
This indicator is very useful for spotting bottoms / tops (do a visual backtest and observe its behavior) as well as entry opportunities.
By default, the lookback period for average volume is 7, but I encourage you to change this value in order to find settings that work best for your particular market.
If you have any feedback or ideas for improvement, please comment.
Enjoy :D
Klinger Volume Oscillator (KVO) v2I took /u/HarryPotter's interpretation of the Klinger Volume Oscillator, modified a few values in its calculation (as you can see the scale is much much smaller than in /u/harrypotter's version; I also performed an inverse fisher transform on it, and added some signal coloring.
I use this on pretty low time frames (3-5-15 min) with a demarker(13) for confirmation (I also published on TV so check for that one too) :)
lime is strong bullish, green is weak bullish, red is strong bearish, maroon is weak bearish
it does repaint a little, but i usually look for signals that match with the demarker like when both cross over the midline in the corresponding direction for confirmation.
Aggregated BTC VOLUMEAggregated Volume from all major exchanges. Price must touch or drop below pivot but close above it. Volume must break SMA.
Volume Pivot BreakoutVolume breaks its MA. Price touches or goes below pivot then closes above it. Buy on purple and blue.
Volume BreakoutVolume breakout against pivot, make sure that price closes above pivot within the next few candles from purple/blue candle.

Realtime Volume Checker : reloadedthe main rules are in version 1.0 of this indicator, here: and they provide useful info to make sense of the indicator
two important improvements:
1 - the candle period is now provided in minutes
2 - the volume MA size does not make an average abymore, now IT CHOOSES the highest value in the range. this provides less, but more significant signals.
Real Time Volume checkerThis indicator was designed to work in real time, and needs the "calculate on every tick" turned on. It verifies if the volume from the current candle is increasing more or less than the average.
Example using 5 min. candles:
1 minute is 20% of the time for the candle. So, if the volume is at 20% or below of the vol.average, the market is stable(price not moving much). If at 1 minute(20% of time) volume is say, at 37%, a big move is happening.
The color of the candle shows the movement direction. A gray means the volume was not important, below average.
The historical candles show how much volume infuenced the price for the corresponding candle.
The current candle is working REAL TIME.
The blue line shows how much time has passed for the candle to complete. All candles are 100% complete(yeah, duh), except for the last one, the line touches zero at start of candle, and slowly fills up to1(1=100%)until the candle ends.
INPUTS:
vol MA size: sets the lenght of the volume average. set to your heard desires
candle Period: set to the number of seconds in the period you chose. 5min = 300, 1h = 3600 and so on. Must be correct, or the results turn into crap
Limit: the value below which the candle is a "non-important" candle. 1 = 100% of average
NOTE: in the very first seconds, the indicator goes crazy. it's expected, due to computed values very close to zero used in the math. after some seconds it stabilizes :)
Ro Hidden Volatility OverlayWorks only on Forex pairs. See the inside bar volatility. Use precision to get data from lower time frames. Be aware that script initialization will be slower with the precision going higher. Added an option to show average volatility for long term as forex market transactions grow rapidly, suppressing all other markets. Bar color changes to green when volatility exceeds average.
[RS]Experimental - Excess Combined Intraday VolumeEXPERIMENTAL:
Use at your discretion.
A different way to look at volume information from a time flowing perspective.
volume stopsLooks at increasing or decreasing volume over the last 3 bars as well as how the last three price bars have close. The idea is to use a color bar as confirmation of support/resistance at that level.
