The recent bullish rise in the GBPJPY pair came to an end when it tested the 189.00 barrier and settled below it to provide a strong barrier against further bullish attempts. By settling close to 188.45, it also showed signs of weak wave formation.




However, the stability of the extra support at 186.50 and the stochastic attempt to crawl towards the overbought areas allow us to hold off until we have enough positive momentum to break through the present barrier and aim for new positive stations that begin at 189.80 and reach 191.70 in the next period.
