ETHUSD (Ethereum) – Week 25 – Bearish pressure

The commonly held belief of anonymity formerly drove many to use currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, but this is quickly fading as more surveillance comes to light. For this reason, earlier this year The Right to Privacy Foundation sponsored a new DeFi project called Railgun. RAILGUN, a privacy system built directly on Ethereum, allows users to engage in cryptocurrency and DeFi based activities, ensuring financial freedom, without the fear of being spied on, by anyone.
In the Ethereum-based game Decentraland, a virtual plot of real estate was sold for more than $913,000 in MANA. It was purchased by Republic Realm, an investment firm focused on digital real estate in decentralized worlds.
Mark Cuban, a billionaire businessman, is investing in and advising dClimate, an Ethereum-based data initiative. According to a press release issued today, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks will serve as a strategic advisor to the firm.
Technically, Ethereum is trading in a range like the other big market cap cryptocurrencies. We think there is a higher probability of a continuation to the downside to reach at least the support area marked on the chart. However, a touch of the resistance is always in play because of the range trading dynamics that the price structure is making. We advise caution.
