CHE.UN for monthly dividend and long term growth

Long
TSX:CHE.UN   CHEMTRADE LOGISTICS INCOME FUND
This is my first idea and I am very excited to be starting this new educational journey into the stock markets. I am a public servant in Canada so much of my paycheck goes into my mandatory pension fund. With plenty of room in my Tax Free Savings account, I am hoping to build a high yield portfolio to offset my average income and eventually help out my pension. 9.8% of my paycheck goes into my pension, 3.5% goes into a moderate-high risk ETF investment portfolio, and this final 1.5% will go into long term individual stocks with the intent of finding high yields and shielding them from tax. Also as a public servant I believe that we are all in this together, so sharing stock ideas to give others more insight is right up my alley.

I bought my first stocks earlier in 2019 and have slowly been reading and familiarizing myself with this form of money management. I am not too proud to admit that I have gotten lucky thus far in the stock market. QTRH QTRH , CAR.UN and TSX:DRG.UN have done very well for me in 2019, but were purchased with no strategy or goals other than to make more money. What I've learnt is that I am comfortable with stocks that are near 52 weeks lows, pay monthly dividends, and appear to have the momentum to gain 10-15% over the next couple years. Chemtrade logistics fits all my personal criteria with no other technical analysis other than its $0.10 a month dividend and a positive linear regression lines since the last sell-off. I am nervous to post this because of how basic it is, but feel like this is a great start for me and my financial journey. I plan on investing 30% of my stock portfolio into CHE.UN at 10.80 today December 12th, 2019 and using the coming up dividends to find other TSX dividend stock ideas to invest in. Will sell 50% of my positions with CHE.UN if price reaches $15.00, and prepare to buy again if price remains reaches 10.80 again in 2020.

I invite you to please give feedback and provide any information that will help me post better ideas to the community.
