Simple trick on consolidation patterns

You will see these types of consolidations on small time frames very often and great for scalping.

When in a sideways, uptrend or downtrend consolidation pattern - look for the false break out in the opposite direction of the trend before continuing.

Price will usually fake out to the opposite direction giving you the opportunity to capitalize on that false break out and have a better entry.
