Mystic's % Retracement ATH MapMystic Retracement Map is a chart overlay that maps key percentage drawdown levels from a selected anchor price.
The indicator is designed to help traders visualize where price is trading relative to important retracement thresholds such as -5%, -10%, -20%, and -50%. These levels are commonly watched by different groups of market participants because they can represent short-term pullbacks, correction zones, deeper risk-off moves, or larger structural resets.
How it works:
The script calculates an anchor price using the selected Anchor Mode. Available anchor modes include Running ATH, Custom Start High, YTD High, Quarter High, Month High, and Manual Price. Once the anchor is selected, the indicator plots configurable percentage retracement levels below that anchor.
Main features:
• Decimal-friendly retracement inputs, including levels such as -0.5%, -2.5%, and -7.5%
• Twelve active retracement levels by default
• Key drawdown levels highlighted more clearly than minor levels
• Compact right-side labels with optional nearest-level display
• A table showing the anchor price, current drawdown, nearest retracement level, ATR distance, moving-average confluence, and trend regime
• Dedicated table rows for -5%, -10%, -20%, and -50% retracement prices
• Optional moving-average context using 21 EMA, 50 SMA, 100 SMA, and 200 SMA
• Optional touch, reclaim, and lost-level markers
• Alert conditions for nearest-level touch, reclaim, loss, and larger drawdown thresholds
How to use it:
Choose the anchor mode that matches your analysis. For broad market indexes, Running ATH or YTD High may be useful. For individual stocks, Custom Start High or Manual Price may be more appropriate when measuring from a specific earnings gap, swing high, breakout high, or other reference point.
The plotted retracement lines show where price would be if it were down a selected percentage from the anchor. The table adds context by showing how far price is from key levels in both percentage and ATR terms.
The indicator does not predict direction. It is a visual mapping tool for identifying drawdown zones, risk levels, and areas where traders may want to pay closer attention to price action.
Notes:
• This is an indicator, not a strategy.
• It does not place trades or generate automated orders.
• The plotted levels are reference zones, not guaranteed support or resistance.
• Use this tool together with your own market structure, volume, trend, and risk-management process.
