Vertcoin ready to go up to new high

Vertcoin is a very promising technology , has a very strong support by the community and also , we have miners that are looking for a new coin out there worth to be mining , in all twitter and social network the crypto community is talking about VTC, to me the coin sames ready to hit some new high i would not be surprised if in 2018 VTC would reach $ 40 , if you look at the chart history it is like a repeat of LTC last year , i have lot's of confidence that 2018 is going to push VTC very high. So to be clear this is a long term hold nothing for the day trader.

ok i had a comment asking if i consider the halving of VTC :
On December 12, 2017 Vertcoin will undergo its first ever block reward subsidy halving. The halving will occur on block 840,000 and reduce mining rewards by 50% from 50 VTC per block to 25 VTC per block. This halving occurs roughly every 4 years and will continue to half until the supply is fully emitted.
So the question is would be price affected :
In conclusion, the halving is something to celebrate! It’s a major milestone for Vertcoin and will be a recurring event in it’s early life cycle. Block rewards are being halved from 50 VTC to 25 VTC. We should expect a short term decrease in mining profitability and network hashrate, both of which should stabilize in the following weeks /months. Price is unpredictable, but historically LTC and BTC saw no long term negative affects in price due to halving. We’re entering uncharted waters but there is no need for fear uncertainty or doubt.

Trade is active , but i have to make some consideration that are impacting Altcoins, if you look and study the BTC chart you would see that it is pushing and trying to go above 20000 , in some market like ( bitmex ) i trade there it alredy as passed a few times , we are really waiting to go up in some other Exchanges like bitfinex coinbase ..... , now the point here is that if it passes the 20000 you would see that it has no more resistance this is all new territory and BTC could go up to 40000 it's going to be a mental game of when the wales would dump if mainstream investor get scared that's were the dump come in, so considering all this and my personal opinion that BTC is going to break the 20000 in any moment i have to suggest you to think your strategy and what you want to do , if BTC has a rally up past 20000 altcoin would be dump like never seen before it would be red blood across altcoin because money is going all into BTC . That is my opinion i would still follow VTC but think about your game plane. Please comment and let me know what you think.

It looks like we have been stuck with this coin a bit longer then i like and this is do to the halving of the coin , like i say before it has not take a toll on the price but it has stooped it from going up , but looking at the last few days of the chart it looks like we are close to go up and try to reach our target .
