17-Year Cycle runs consistently from 1897 to the present day. The reason is that it is based on the 72-Degree longitudinal harmonic distance traveled by the Planet Uranus (Heliocentric), as well as the 36-Degree harmonic of Saturn and the synodic period shared between the two planets.
Each 17-Year period can be understood as a geometric "face" of a rotating pentagon. In this light, stock markets can be seen in four dimensions, rather than two. That is, price-time as a combined dimension (typical x-axis and y-axis are two separate dimensions), the z-axis that acts as a gravitational anchor to the price-time data and can be viewed "coming out of the page" and the rotating motion of the geometric solid (in this case either cube or pentagon) is the fourth dimension. Motion, itself, creates one higher dimension under any circumstance.
The 17-Year Cycle also features a "Mid-Cycle Panic", whereby the market tends to sell off heavily seemingly out of nowhere. The real cause behind this recurring devastating period is the planet Saturn, which reaches 180-degrees longitude starting from the beginning of any singular 17-Year face. It takes Saturn (and thus the Mid-Cycle Panic) anywhere between 7-9 years, on average, when starting at the beginning of each 17-Year period.
The dates and corresponding mid-cycle panic tops are as follows:
01. APRIL 1897 - MARKET CLOSE 1914 (Panic :: FEB-1907) 02. DEC 1914 - JUL 1932 (Panic :: OCT-1919) 03. JUL 1932 - JUN 1949 (Panic :: JUN-1937) 04. JUN 1949 - FEB 1966 (Panic :: JUL-1957) 05. FEB 1966 - AUG 1982 (Panic :: DEC-1972)
06. AUG 1982 - JAN 1999 (Panic :: OCT-1987) 07. JAN 1999 - FEB 2016 (Panic :: SEP-2008) 08. FEB 2016 - TBD* (Panic :: TBD**)
