The Fed will pause after 10 rate hikes, which is the most popular step in the next 6 months. As a result, the USD will not depreciate rapidly, which will put pressure on gold.
Nevertheless, many forecasts still predict that the price of precious metals will increase and soon surpass the record high of around $2,070/ounce when central banks increase their gold purchases.
