The price stability measurement confirms for ECB to manage the EUR/USD's medium-term price stability 10 % and narrower than international consensus for 15 % to maintain the global economic and financial stability. And, ECB also manage the short-term price stability for 10 %, similar to medium-term. The long-term price stability is managed for 28 %, narrower than USD/JPY managed by BOJ.
Widening the 10 % medium-term to 15 % is allowed by consensus and at such, upward and downward widening meeting the commitments. But, the impact on commodity currencies could be larger than anticipated due to the role of EUR/USD as economic and monetary currency.
The only recommendable to trade on EUR/USD is the medium-term exchange rate target zone, and the daily, weekly, monthly and short-term bands not recommended and similar to USD/JPY and USD/CHF.
