I am constantly searching for inspirational videos, articles, books, anything that could help me stay in the game. So, I did a search on Youtube and found Robert Kiyosaki interview.
Here's the essence :
1. Never says I can't afford it , I don't have money.
NO MATTER what is your situation. It can be tough, really tough to put on a smile and knowing how much you wanted inside of you and yet you have to say out of frustration that you can't afford it.
The problem is when you said it aloud, you hear your own words. And like the Bible said, words become flesh (Luke 4.32) . Our words have authority just like the words of God.
When it is said often and enough times, the mind starts to believe what it says. And thoughts will influence our speech and the words we speak determine the actions/attitude we carry in life. Over time, that becomes our character and shape our own destiny.
Instead of saying I can't afford it , replace it with "HOW can I afford it ?" When you said how, you are processing in your mind the ways to go get the thing you want. There is no pressure initially as you are brainstorming , tinkering with ideas, concepts before it takes shape.
2. Your job is to get a job - Do a quick survey among your friends. Is it not those who have a pay check worried the most about their job now ? They felt betrayed in some sense as the promise of a job (what schools taught us) seems illusive now. Probably, millions of fresh graduates around the world will not get one soon. With a constant paycheck, the security is there and soon we become complacent. We are merely exchanging our time/skills for money. And TIME is a finite resource , only 24 hours a day, it doesn't matter if you are Bill Gates or the man on the street.
And if time is limited and making money is unlimited, why then are we not giving ourselves and our children a chance of a lifetime to learn more about money ? Or are we carrying on what the schools have taught us - to get a job.
3. Wealth takes time to compound - His rich dad begins to buy parcels of land from individual owners and collectively over time have a sizeable land bank that he can use to build a luxurious hotel. It does not happen within a month or a year. It takes time to accumulate.
This point is crucial as too many of us want to make our money fast, as fast as we can , like the "retire at 25" syndrome. Is that why bitcoin remains one of the hottest assets among the millennials ?
Remember, when we said we cannot afford it, we are merely escaping from reality. It is a way to escape from our responsibility. We feel stressful thinking about it less to know what to do about it. Now, because making money is so important , not just for yourself but for your family and society, it is imperative that it be taught and learnt as early as possible.
Look around the market now, the most popular courses among kids are seldom about money. It is CODING coz everyone wants to be the next tech kid, cool kid in town. Of course, that is one way to make money.
Ponder over this post for a while and ask yourself - how can you afford it (insert the things you want in life)?

praise the lord. congrats to those who followed. watch out now, it is facing a resistance again.If it fails to break above 9500, it will resist the support level at 8500 again.....
