It seems that a DB pattern has been drawn by Gold; Don't open any position unless under 1718 or above 1760, the long position will become relevant above the lvl 1760 with the first target 1815.
The breakdown and the consolidation of the price below the lvl 1717 will let the pair go down to it's strong support 1677.
