Gold tracking the market

Was thinking about shorting gold today, looking at the charts it looks like it's just tracking the market. Overlay is ES1! (SPX futures) on top of gold futures, not exactly the same but trend is there. I guess it's all about interest rates at this point.

China is pumping everything tonight, futures and commodities, we'll see what the Euros do in the morning.
