DXY has struggled heavily at the $105.50 area for years now. It failed once again overnight after a nice rally, but I see potential for a break today. Nice bull flag breakout and this level has been tested so many times I'd expect it to break eventually.
However, it has failed every time and equities continue to rally, so it's a dangerous bet. I'm more using it to gauge market sentiment rather than trade. I'll be a lot more comfortable with shorts if DXY and VX get moving, but if they don't I think bulls can remain comfortable.
