You can change the color of the lines and time as per day light savings.
Session Levels Predictor [LuxAlgo]The "Session Levels Predictor" indicator predicts the maximum/minimum levels that will be made within a user-specified session. Hit rate percentages are displayed to measure how often a specific level has been hit.
🔶 USAGE
The indicator can be used to estimate the expected maximum/minimum levels within a specified session, these are directly displayed at the start of a session. This operation can be useful to set take profits/stop losses levels when we expect to exit within a specific session.
Users can display up to 3 upper and lower extremities on their chart (by default only 2 upper and lower extremities are displayed), with their distance from the session opening price being determined by the user-set percentile setting, values closer to 100 will return levels farther away from the session opening price.
Predicting maximum/minimum levels effectively allows obtaining support/resistance levels for the user-defined session, with a breakout probability indicating how easy it can be for the price to reach the estimated levels. These levels can be extended outside the specified session, allowing to test their relevancy as support/resistance levels to prices outside the specified sessions.
🔶 DETAILS
To predict maximum/minimum levels made within a session we keep a record of the distance between a session's maximum/minimum value and the session opening price (opening price when the session starts).
By using the percentile_nearest_rank() on our recorded distances we draw levels from the session opening price. If a level is hit between 2 sessions, this is saved for further calculations.
Lastly, a % hit rate of these levels is shown at the sessions open, indicating the probability that these levels could be hit before the next session.
🔹 array.percentile_nearest_rank()
Returns the value for which the specified percentage of array values (percentile) is less than or equal to it, using the nearest-rank method.
For example, taking the 75th percentile from our recorded distances between the maximum session level and session opening price will return a new distance where 75% of the recorded distances are lower.
The same goes for the green session's open - low levels
🔶 SETTINGS
Session: User-defined session interval, uses the symbol timezone.
Percentile (1, 2, 3): K-th percentile used to estimate session max/min levels, higher values will return more distant levels.
Max Population: Maximum amount of recorded distance data for the calculation of percentiles.
🔹 Style
Extend Middle Line: Toggle to extend the blue Middle Line to the next session - Default disabled
Session Sweeps [LuxAlgo]The Session Sweeps indicator combines ICT-based features for a complete trading methodology involving market sessions, market structure, and fair value gaps to find optimal entry conditions for trading price action.
Traders frequently tend to place stop/limit orders at the high and low points of major trading sessions such as Asian (Tokyo), European (London), and North American (New York), resulting in the establishment of liquidity pools at those particular levels. The Session Sweeps indicator is crafted to recognize and underscore occurrences of session sweeps or liquidity sweeps during these major trading sessions.
🔶 USAGE
Default settings utilize major forex trading sessions, yet users can select their preferred opening and closing times, rename the sessions, or adjust the colors. It's important to note that the specified times for each session align with the respective local timezones: Asian (Tokyo) UTC+9, European (London) UTC, and North American (New York) UTC-5.
If the price briefly crosses either the highest or lowest point of a market session. These movements, aiming at triggering stop losses, suggest potential shifts in the market direction. Detecting such movements is the fundamental purpose and core functionality of the script.
🔹Market Structure Shifts
A Market Structure Shift refers to a change in market direction, either from an uptrend to a downtrend or vice versa. A part of a common entry model when using session sweeps is waiting for the formation of a CHoCH after a session sweep.
🔹Fair Value Gaps
A Fair Value Gap (FVG) holds particular appeal for price action traders, emerging when there are inefficiencies or imbalances in the market, often a result of uneven buying and selling activity. The underlying concept of FVGs is that the market tends to revisit these inefficiencies before resuming its trajectory in alignment with the initial impulsive move.
After the formation of a CHoCH traders can enter a position when the price enters the area of a Fair Value Gap (FVG).
🔹Setup Examples
This entry setup is commonly used by ICT traders and is shared for informational & educational purposes only.
Long Positions (5-Minute Timeframe):
Wait for the previous session's low to be swept.
Look for a Bullish Choch.
Find a Bullish FVG formed by or before the Choch.
Entry Point: At the FVG.
Take Profit (TP): At the session high or aim for a 1:2 Risk-Reward Ratio.
Stop Loss (SL): At the session low or nearest Swing Low.
Take partial profits at intermediate swings, but don’t shift SL prematurely.
Short Positions (5-Minute Timeframe):
Wait for the previous session's high to be swept.
Look for a Bearish Choch.
Find a FVG formed by or before the Choch.
Entry Point: At the FVG.
Take Profit (TP): At the previous session's low or aim for a 1:2 RR.
Stop Loss (SL): At the session high or nearest Swing High.
Take partial profits at intermediate swings, but don’t shift SL prematurely.

Sessions [TradingFinder] New York, London, Tokyo & Sydney ForexTiming is one of the influential factors in a trader's position. This indicator categorizes transactions into three sessions (Asia, Europe, and America). Five significant trading cities (New York, London, Frankfurt, Tokyo, and Sydney) are selectable.
I recommend using the tool on a 5-minute time frame, but it is usable on all time frames.
Settings:
• Trading sessions: Display or hide each trading session as needed.
• Color: Change the color of each box.
• Session time intervals: The default is based on the main working hours for each time interval and can be adjusted.
• Information table: Delete or display additional information table.
Information Table:
• Trading sessions
• Opening and closing times of each trading session
How to Use:
Initiating trading sessions involves entering with increased liquidity, and the market usually experiences significant movements. Many trading strategies are based on "time" and "session openings." This tool empowers traders to focus intensely on each time interval.
These trading sessions are crucial for all Forex, stock, and index traders:
The total price ceiling and floor in the Asia session (Tokyo and Sydney) are crucial for traders in the European session.
The European session starts with Frankfurt, and an hour later, London begins, collectively forming the European session.
The dashboard provides additional information, displaying hours based on UTC.
Customization options are considered in all sections so that everyone can apply their own settings.
Important: Default times are the most accurate for each region, and in most indicators, this time is not correctly selected. Therefore, the level of influence and time intervals are specified at the beginning of each session. If you are using another indicator, match its default time to the announced time and share the results with me in the comments.
chrono_utilsLibrary "chrono_utils"
📝 Description
Collection of objects and common functions that are related to datetime windows session days and time ranges. The main purpose of this library is to handle time-related functionality and make it easy to reason about a future bar checking if it will be part of a predefined session and/or inside a datetime window. All existing session functionality I found in the documentation e.g. "not na(time(timeframe, session, timezone))" are not suitable for strategy scripts, since the execution of the orders is delayed by one bar, due to the script execution happening at the bar close. Moreover, a history operator with a negative value that looks forward is not allowed in any pinescript expression. So, a prediction for the next bar using the bars_back argument of "time()"" and "time_close()" was necessary. Thus, I created this library to overcome this small but very important limitation. In the meantime, I added useful functionality to handle session-based behavior. An interesting utility that emerged from this development is data anomaly detection where a comparison between the prediction and the actual value is happening. If those two values are different then a data inconsistency happens between the prediction bar and the actual bar (probably due to a holiday, half session day, a timezone change etc..)
🤔 How to Guide
To use the functionality this library provides in your script you have to import it first!
Copy the import statement of the latest release by pressing the copy button below and then paste it into your script. Give a short name to this library so you can refer to it later on. The import statement should look like this:
import jason5480/chrono_utils/2 as chr
To check if a future bar will be inside a window first of all you have to initialize a DateTimeWindow object.
A code example is the following:
var dateTimeWindow = chr.DateTimeWindow.new().init(fromDateTime = timestamp('01 Jan 2023 00:00'), toDateTime = timestamp('01 Jan 2024 00:00'))
Then you have to "ask" the dateTimeWindow if the future bar defined by an offset (default is 1 that corresponds th the next bar), will be inside that window:
// Filter bars outside of the datetime window
bool dateFilterApproval = dateTimeWindow.is_bar_included()
You can visualize the result by drawing the background of the bars that are outside the given window:
bgcolor(color = dateFilterApproval ? na : color.new(color.fuchsia, 90), offset = 1, title = 'Datetime Window Filter')
In the same way, you can "ask" the Session if the future bar defined by an offset it will be inside that session.
First of all, you should initialize a Session object.
A code example is the following:
var sess = chr.Session.new().from_sess_string(sess = '0800-1700:23456', refTimezone = 'UTC')
Then check if the given bar defined by the offset (default is 1 that corresponds th the next bar), will be inside the session like that:
// Filter bars outside the sessions
bool sessionFilterApproval = view.sess.is_bar_included()
You can visualize the result by drawing the background of the bars that are outside the given session:
bgcolor(color = sessionFilterApproval ? na : color.new(color.red, 90), offset = 1, title = 'Session Filter')
In case you want to visualize multiple session ranges you can create a SessionView object like that:
var view = SessionView.new().init(SessionDays.new().from_sess_string('2345'), array.from(SessionTimeRange.new().from_sess_string('0800-1600'), SessionTimeRange.new().from_sess_string('1300-2200')), array.from('London', 'New York'), array.from(color.blue, color.orange))
and then call the draw method of the SessionView object like that:
view.draw()
🏋️♂️ Please refer to the "EXAMPLE DATETIME WINDOW FILTER" and "EXAMPLE SESSION FILTER" regions of the script for more advanced code examples of how to utilize the full potential of this library, including user input settings and advanced visualization!
⚠️ Caveats
As I mentioned in the description there are some cases that the prediction of the next bar is not accurate. A wrong prediction will affect the outcome of the filtering. The main reasons this could happen are the following:
Public holidays when the market is closed
Half trading days usually before public holidays
Change in the daylight saving time (DST)
A data anomaly of the chart, where there are missing and/or inconsistent data.
A bug in this library (Please report by PM sending the symbol, timeframe, and settings)
Special thanks to @robbatt and @skinra for the constructive feedback 🏆. Without them, the exposed API of this library would be very lengthy and complicated to use. Thanks to them, now the user of this library will be able to get the most, with only a few lines of code!
Week designationThe script is primarily used for visualizing the beginning and end of the week. It is particularly helpful when working with time intervals shorter than one day. In a very simple and clear manner, you can see when a specific week has started. This makes it easier to assess the market sentiment in a short timeframe.
Here are the operating principles of this script:
Initialization:
The script begins with initialization, where basic parameters and settings such as line colors and line style are defined.
Determining the Session Start:
The startSession(hour, minute) function is used to calculate the starting time of a session on the chart. Sessions can be divided into different time intervals, such as the daily session (D), weekly session (W), and monthly session (M).
Checking for Session Start:
The script checks if a new session is starting. If so, a vertical line is inserted on the chart to mark the beginning of that session.
isSessionStart checks for the start of the daily session.
isSessionStart_2 checks for the start of the weekly session.
isSessionStart_3 checks for the start of the monthly session.
Marking Mondays:
The script checks if the current day is Monday (the day of the week number 2 represents Monday).
If the current session is starting or it is Monday, a vertical line is inserted on the chart with the day designation (color color_day).
Marking Lines on the Chart:
The lines inserted on the chart are vertical and have a specified style and color, which can be customized in the settings.
LIT - TimingIntroduction
This Script displays the Asia Session Range, the London Open Inducement Window, the NY Open Inducement Window, the Previous Week's high and low, the Previous Day's highs and lows, and the Day Open price in the cleanest way possible.
Description
The Indicator is based on UTC -7 timing but displays the Session Boxes automatically correct at your chart so you do not have to adjust any timings based on your Time Zone and don't have to do any calculations based on your UTC. It is already perfect.
You will see on default settings the purple Asia Box and 2 grey boxes, the first one is for the London Open Inducement Window (1 hour) and the second grey box is for the NY Open Inducement Window (also 1 hour)
Asia Range comes with default settings with the Asia Range high, low, and midline, you can remove these 3 lines in the settings "style" and untick the "Lines" box, that way you only will have the boxes displayed.
Special Feature
Most Timing-based Indicators have "bugged" boxes or don't show clean boxes at all and don't adjust at daylight savings times, we made sure that everything automatically gets adjusted so you don't have to! So the timings will always display at the correct time regarding the daylight savings times.
Combining Timing with Liquidity Zones the right way and in a clear, clean, and simple format.
Different than others this script also shows the "true" Asia range as it respects the "day open gap" which affects the Asia range in other scripts and it also covers the full 8 hours of Asia Session.
Additions
You can add in the settings menu the last week's high and low, the previous day's high and low, and also the day's open price by ticking the boxes in the settings menu
All colors of the boxes are fully adjustable and customizable for your personal preferences. Same for the previous weeks and day highs and lows. Just go to "Style" and you can adjust the Line types or colors to your preferred choice.
Recommended Use
The most beautiful display is on the M5 Timeframe as you have a clear overview of all sessions without losing the intraday view. You can also use it on the M1 for more details or the M15 for the bigger picture. The Template can hide on higher time frames starting from the H1 to not flood your chart with boxes.
How to use the Asia Session Range Box
Use the Asia Range Box as your intraday Guide, keep in mind that a Breakout of Asia high or low induces Liquidity and a common price behavior is a reversal after the fake breakout of that range.
How to use the London Open and NY Open Inducement Windows
Both grey boxes highlight the Open of either London Open or NY Open and you should keep an eye out for potential Liquditiy Graps or Mitigations during that times as this is when they introduce major Liquidity for the regarding Session.
How to use the Asia high, low and midline and day open price
After Asia Range got taken out in one direction, often price comes back to those levels to mitigate or bounce off, so you can imagine those zones as support and resistance on some occasions, recommended in combination with Imbalances.
How to use the previous day and week's highs and lows
Once added in the settings, you can display those price levels, you can use them either as Liquidity Targets or as Inducement Levels once they are taken out.
Enjoy!
Sessioned EMA - Frozen EMA in post market hoursWhy I develop this indicator?
In future indices, post market data with little volume distort the moving average seriously. This indicator is to eliminate the distortion of data during low volume post market hours.
How to use?
There is a time session setting in the indicator, you can set the cash hour time, moving average outside the session will be frozen.
What this indicator gives you
This indicator give you a more make sense ema pattern, the ema lines are more respected by the prices when you set the session properly.
Setup
1. Session setting
In US indices, such as NQ, ES etc, when there was data release at 0830 hr, huge volume transaction order appears, that makes the 0830 price data important that should be included in your ema trend line calculating. If that is the case, I will set the session begin from 0830, otherwise, I start the session at 0930. Golden rule : Price with huge volume counts.
2. Time zone
The coding is decided for GMT+8 time zone, you may amend the code to fit your timezone.
Session Bar Color (US Time)This script is designed to change the color of bars on a trading chart based on different trading sessions in Eastern Time (ET). It is different from currently published scripts in that it specifically focuses on US time sessions and provides a customizable approach to defining and coloring each session.
To use this script, you can apply it to a chart by selecting it from the list of available indicators or overlays.
The script is meant for traders who are interested in visualizing different trading sessions on their charts. By coloring the bars based on session boundaries, it can help traders quickly identify session changes and potentially adjust their trading strategies accordingly. Mostly it's used to draw the high and low zones of each session.
The markets this script is suitable for are those that operate within the US time zones, as it specifically focuses on Eastern Time (ET) sessions. It can be used for various types of markets, including stocks, futures, and forex.
The conditions for each session are defined using the input. session function, which allows you to specify the start and end times for each session. The script includes four sessions: Asian, London, USA, and New York. By modifying the defval parameter for each session input, you can customize the session times to fit your specific trading preferences or time zone.
The script uses the time function to check if the current bar falls within a particular session. If the condition is met, it sets the color of the bar using the bar color function. Each session is assigned a different color: black for the Asian session, teal for the London session, a custom RGB color (dark red) for the USA session, and red for the New York session.
It's important to note that this script assumes the time zone of the trading platform is set to "Etc/GMT+4" to align with Eastern Time (ET). If your platform uses a different time zone, you may need to adjust the time function calls to match your desired time zone.
Sessions[Lenny Kiruthu]The script below is designed to show up to 4 different trading sessions i.e. London, New York, Tokyo and Sydney sessions, it also displays the days each session is taking place in as well as two horizontal lines one for the previous days high and the other for the previous days low.
It also displays a table that shows the user the highest and lowest price for 4 different currency pairs the previous day as well as their current prices and below it a confirmation row that shows whether price is currently above, below or within yesterdays range. Note that it only states "High Broken" or "Low Broken" if the current close is above or below the lines.
What you can change

VWAP Open Session Anchored by HampehThe VWAP Open Session Anchored indicator differs from traditional VWAP indicators by automatically anchoring the Volume Weighted Average Price calculation to three market session starts Morning, Evening, and Night. Each session represents a distinct time period within the trading day, offering traders and investors a more comprehensive view of the volume-weighted average price within specific sessions.
What Is the Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP)?
The volume-weighted average price (VWAP) is a technical analysis indicator used on intraday charts that resets at the start of every new trading session.
VWAP is important because it provides traders with pricing insight into both the trend and value of a security.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
1. The volume-weighted average price (VWAP) is a single line on intraday charts.
2. It looks similar to a moving average line but smoother.
3. VWAP represents a view of price action throughout a single day's trading session.
4. Retail and professional traders may use the VWAP to help them determine intraday price trends.
5. VWAP typically is most useful to short-term traders.
VWAP is calculated by totaling the dollars traded for every transaction (price multiplied by the volume) and then dividing by the total shares traded.
VWAP = Cumulative Typical Price x Volume/Cumulative Volume
Where Typical Price = High price + Low price + Closing Price/3
Cumulative = total since the trading session opened.
How Is VWAP Used?
VWAP is used in different ways by traders. Traders may use VWAP as a trend confirmation tool and build trading rules around it. For instance, they may consider stocks with prices below VWAP as undervalued and those with prices above it, as overvalued. If prices below VWAP move above it, traders may go long on the stock. If prices above VWAP move below it, they may sell their positions or initiate short positions.
Institutional buyers including mutual funds use VWAP to help move into or out of stocks with as small of a market impact as possible. Therefore, when they can, institutions will try to buy below the VWAP or sell above it. This way their actions push the price back toward the average, instead of away from it.

-> you can manages the time of the sessions
-> you can chose to display the start of the day (GMT/UTC and EST )
The indicator is displayed by default only for all the timeframes below 60min.
OverNightSession @joshuuuThis indicator highlights the Overnightsession (ONS), taught by TheCurrenyMerchant.
The Overnightsession is from 4-8 am UTC-5. This session can be used to form trades, e.g. after one side has been taken out.
It has the options to display Projection and the equilibrium level. Equilibrium level (50%) can be used to identify if price is currently in premium/discount of the range and the projections (standard deviations of the range) can be used to identify possible targets.
A classic setup he teaches is:
Price trades agressively out of the range taking liquidity. As soon as we trade above the high of the candle that took liquidity, that candle can be considered an orderblock, where the 50% level can be used for long setups.

[MiV] Trading SessionHello, everyone!
Today I want to present my new script, which I hope will help not only me!
I'm sure that many people, like me, went through such a stage as "building their strategy". This is when you sit and test on the history how you would enter or exit a trade.
Recently I was doing the same thing and realized that my "tests" involve night time, when in reality I would be asleep and not trading! So I decided to create an indicator that would display my "working hours" so that the backtest I conduct would be as realistic as possible.
Also this indicator is able to display sessions of major exchanges and forex working hours, so it will be useful not only for cryptocurrency lovers.
In addition, we don't always trade every day and, for example, I don't trade on Sunday. That's why we added a feature that "turns off" the day and does not highlight it in color if you're not planning to trade on that day.
And finally, I added a notification of the beginning and end of the trading session. A small thing, but it may also be a useful feature for those who like to sit at the chart!
I will be glad to receive any comments and suggestions!
-----
Extended Session High/Low - Intraday and daily chartsThis script plots the extended session highest high and lowest low levels. It works on any time frame from 1 minute to daily.
Please note that during the extended session, TradingView stops updating the daily chart. This means that once the script is loaded on a daily chart, it will not be updated until the market opens, unless you manually reload the layout (Ctrl+R). For this reason, it is recommended to use a multi-timeframe layout, so when the pre/post market line is near the extended session high/low on the daily chart, you can compare these values with those on an intraday chart of the same ticker.
The extended session high/low are important for day traders because they represent the maximum and minimum limits within which the trades have taken place during the extended trading hours. This can make them levels of support/resistance that can be useful for planning trend following, reversal and range-bound strategies.
By displaying the extended session high/low on the daily chart, traders can also see if there are any significant levels nearby that are related to the daily time frame, such as trendlines, support/resistance levels, or moving averages. This can help the trader evaluate whether there is enough room for a price movement in the direction of his trading strategy.
Sessions Indicator [CodeDNL]A sessions indicator that doesn't cover the whole trading screen, and continues into the future.
Made to be easier on the eyes than existing solutions.
FX Sessions & Killzones ETJust another sessions indicator. Among all the many existing ones, I didn't find anything simple that would cover my needs and that would actually be correct.
New York time is forced here for plotting the stripes so you don't need to worry about the time zone currently set on your chart. The indicator will be accurate during Daylight Saving Time (which, in 2023 for example, started on Sunday, 12 March , 02:00:00 and will be in effect until Sunday, 5 November, 02:00:00).
30 Second Futures Session Open RangeThis indicator displays 30 second opening ranges from Globex, Europe, and RTH sessions.
From the RTH session range, it also displays infinitely generating Price Targets based on a % of the opening range size.
I am retrieving the 30 second data using the new "request.security_lower_tf()" function.
The importance of these levels is based on the idea that when the market opens, algorithms establish their positions within the first 30 seconds.
These areas can also be seen as potential areas of support and resistance throughout the sessions.
Enjoy!
Stock Data Table█ OVERVIEW
This is a table that shows some information about stocks. It is divided into four sections:
1) Correlation
2) Shares
3) Daily Data
4) Extended Session Data
The table is completely modular, which means you can add or remove each element from the settings menu, and it will automatically rearrange its spaces.
It is also highly customizable, to the extent that you can change almost any color, remove or change titles, invert section rows, and much more.
1) Correlation
The script checks if the stock is listed on NASDAQ, and if so, uses the QQQ (Nasdaq-100 ETF) as the reference index in the first cell; otherwise, it uses the SPY (S&P 500 ETF). The length of the correlation is shown in the second cell. The table then displays the correlation between the reference index and the other index, and the correlation between the reference index and the stock.
To make it easier to interpret the correlation values, each row's last cell is color-coded with a gradient to highlight the type of correlation, and the direction of the gradient can be customized.
The correlation coefficient is a statistical measure that quantifies the strength and direction of the relationship between two variables, indicating how changes in one variable are associated with changes in the other variable, so it can be used to identify patterns and trends.
If you are interested in correlation, I suggest taking a look at my dedicated indicator:
2) Shares
This feature provides you with quick access to key information about shares and market capitalization.
On one row, you can view the total shares outstanding and the market capitalization for the fiscal year or the quarterly year. The total shares outstanding represents the total number of shares of the stock that have been issued and are currently outstanding, regardless of whether they are held by insiders or public investors. The market capitalization is a widely used measure of the company's value as determined by the stock market, calculated by multiplying its current stock price with the total number of outstanding shares.
The other row shows the float, which is the number of shares of a company that are available for public trading, and the corresponding free-float market cap, calculated by multiplying the company's current stock price with the float. Because Pine Script does not allow retrieving information about quarterly year float, you can view the float and the free-float market cap of the fiscal year only. The data can be displayed at all times or only when the difference between the total shares outstanding and the float is significant enough to result in a difference between the market cap and free-float market cap.
The classification for market cap and free-float market cap is set in this way:
Mega Cap: $200 billion or more
Large Cap: between $10 billion and $200 billion
Mid Cap: between $2 billion and $10 billion
Small Cap: between $300 million and $2 billion
Micro Cap: less than $300 million
Penny Stocks: less than $5 (customizable)
Comparing the free-float market cap to the market cap can provide insights into the liquidity of a stock. In fact, if the float is relatively small compared to the total shares outstanding, it may be more difficult to find buyers or sellers, which could lead to increased volatility. On the other hand, a larger float indicates that the stock is more liquid and may be easier to trade, potentially resulting in lower volatility. However, market conditions can change quickly and significantly, especially for intraday traders, and the free-float can also change as insiders or other large shareholders buy or sell shares. Therefore, comparing the data of the fiscal year with that of the quarterly year may not provide the most up-to-date and accurate information for making trading decisions. This limitation can be mitigated by combining those data with other indicators and tools, such as technical analysis or news events, to gain a better understand of the stock's performance and potential trading opportunities.
3) Daily Data
This section is available on daily charts only due to the lack of accuracy of real-time daily data on other time frames. Here, you can view the Average Daily Volume (ADV) over a preferred time range (20 days by default), and the Daily Change, which represents the percentage difference between the closing price on two consecutive trading days.
ADV is useful in measuring the stock's volatility, as it provides an indication of how much trading activity there is in it. Generally speaking, stocks with higher trading volume tend to be less volatile than stocks with lower trading volume. High trading volume means there are more buyers and sellers actively trading the stock, which makes it easier for investors to buy and sell shares at fair prices. This increased liquidity can help to stabilize the stock price, reducing the potential for large swings in either direction. On the other hand, stocks with lower trading volume may experience greater volatility, as there are fewer buyers and sellers actively trading the stock. This can result in larger price swings, as it may be more difficult for investors to buy or sell shares at fair prices.
The daily percentage change can provide an indication of the stock's volatility, with larger values indicating greater volatility and risk. It can also be compared to that of a benchmark such an index or other stocks in the same sector, helping to determine whether the stock is outperforming or underperforming relative to them.
4) Extended Session Data
The fourth section is available on intraday charts only. This section provides two pieces of information: the Extended Session Change and the Pre-Market Volume.
The Extended Session Change indicates the percentage difference between the previous day's closing price and the latest price in the extended session. This gives you the extent and the direction of the price gap that occurred during extended trading hours.
The Pre-Market Volume shows the sum of all shares traded during the pre-market session. This can be helpful in understanding how much interest the stock gained before the market opened.
By default, the two rows will be visible at all times. They will stop updating after the end of their respective time range, and resume updating when it starts again. However, you can choose to automatically hide them outside of their time ranges.
Both the extended session and pre-market time ranges can be customized. Please note that if you select time ranges outside of the regular market session (as set by default), you must enable the extended session to view the corresponding rows.
█ GENERAL NOTES
• Total Shares Outstanding, Float, Average Daily Volume and Pre-Market Volume cells use a customizable color system based on two thresholds, to help you quickly identify whether the value is "too low/acceptable/too high" or "too low/not enough high/acceptable".
• If you cannot see certain data, that simply means it is not available.
ICT MacrosThis script allows traders to visualize the range of time when a macro (an automated series of instructions/trades from large fund traders, executed by an algorithm) will likely occur in the market. It does this by drawing vertical lines and labels on the chart at these specific times:
(Macro Open) - 9:50 AM EST
(Macro Close) - 10:10 AM EST
(Macro Open) - 10:50 AM EST
(Macro Close) - 11:10 AM EST
(Macro Open) - 1:10 PM EST
(Macro Close) - 1:40 PM EST
(Macro Open) - 3:15 PM EST
(Macro Close) - 3:45 PM EST
The theory behind the use of these macros - is that the market will either seek buy side or sell side liquidity, or seek to rebalance price at a point of interest in between the open and close of the macro. Traders who follow this theory can use that information to anticipate how price might behave.
When a macro occurs, the script draws a vertical line on the chart using a dotted line style with a user-defined color. Additionally, a label is placed above the line to indicate whether it is a Macro Open or Macro Close event.
To preserve space, the labels are abbreviated on chart - "Macro Open" (M.O.) and "Macro Close" (M.C.) for both the morning and afternoon trading sessions. The labels may be turned on/off by the user.
The script also includes alerts that can notify traders when a macro occurs. These alerts can be set to go off once per bar close, and the alert message indicates the specific macro type and time.
This script is entirely open-source, meaning that traders can read the code and modify it as needed. Credit to the foundation of this script goes to TradingView user @rickyzcarroll for his open source Strat Assistant Hour Flip script. Important changes include the specific time changes and alert function.
