Push and Exhaustion Strategy with VWAP and Moving AveragesOverview:
The Push and Exhaustion Strategy Indicator is a custom technical analysis tool designed to help traders identify potential market turning points by highlighting significant price movements (pushes) and subsequent periods of reduced momentum (exhaustion). This indicator also incorporates key moving averages (50-period and 200-period) and the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) to provide additional context for trading decisions.
Components:
Push and Exhaustion Thresholds:
Push Threshold: Set at 1.5 by default. This means the price must increase by 50% or more compared to the previous close to signal a push.
Exhaustion Threshold: Set at 0.7 by default. This means the price must decrease by 30% or more compared to the previous close to signal exhaustion.
VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price):
VWAP is plotted on the chart to provide an average price weighted by volume, giving insight into the true average price paid for an asset.
Moving Averages:
50-period Moving Average (MA): Plotted in blue, it helps identify the short-to-mid-term trend direction.
200-period Moving Average (MA): Plotted in orange, it helps identify the long-term trend direction.
How It Works:
Push Condition:
A push signal is generated when the current closing price is at least 1.5 times the previous closing price (pushThreshold).
Additionally, the closing price must be above the VWAP, indicating strong upward momentum.
When these conditions are met, a green triangle is plotted above the price bar.
Exhaustion Condition:
An exhaustion signal is generated when the current closing price is at most 0.7 times the previous closing price (exhaustionThreshold).
Additionally, the closing price must be below the VWAP, indicating weakened momentum and potential reversal.
When these conditions are met, a red triangle is plotted below the price bar.
Visualization:
The indicator plots green triangles above bars to indicate a push signal and red triangles below bars to indicate an exhaustion signal.
It also plots the 50-period and 200-period moving averages as blue and orange lines, respectively.
The VWAP is plotted as a purple line, showing the average price considering the trading volume.
Alerts:
The indicator includes optional alerts that notify the trader when a push or exhaustion signal is detected.
Usage:
Push Signals: Traders might use push signals to enter trades in the direction of strong momentum, typically buying in an uptrend.
Exhaustion Signals: Traders might use exhaustion signals to anticipate potential reversals, considering exiting positions or entering counter-trend trades.
Moving Averages: The 50-period and 200-period moving averages help provide context to the overall trend, aiding in decision-making.
VWAP: Being above or below the VWAP helps validate the strength of the price movement.
This indicator provides a comprehensive view of market momentum, aiding traders in making informed decisions by highlighting significant price moves and potential reversals within the context of prevailing trends.

Smartos VWAPSmartos VWAP Indicator Description
Smartos VWAP is a versatile and customizable technical analysis tool designed for traders and analysts to gauge the average price of a security based on its trading volume. The indicator calculates the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) over six different customizable periods, allowing users to adapt the analysis to their trading strategies.
Key Features:
Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP): The Smartos VWAP provides a dynamic measure of the average price at which a security has traded throughout the day, weighted by volume. This makes it a useful reference point for assessing price levels.
Customizable Periods: The indicator allows users to set six different candle lengths for VWAP calculations, with default values of 21, 48, 84, 175, 480, and 840 candles. Users can easily modify these values to suit their trading preferences.
Multiple VWAP Lines: The indicator plots six distinct VWAP lines on the chart, each representing a different period. This enables traders to observe price action relative to multiple VWAPs, helping identify trends and potential support and resistance levels.
Visual Clarity: Each VWAP line is color-coded for easy differentiation, making it simple for traders to analyze price movements and the relationship between the current price and the average price over the selected periods.
Usage:
Traders can use the Smartos VWAP indicator to make informed decisions regarding entry and exit points, as well as to assess overall market sentiment. By observing the position of the price relative to the VWAP lines, traders can gain insights into potential bullish or bearish trends.
Zigzag Tails [Trendoscope®] 🎲 Introducing Zigzag Tails Indicator by Trendoscope.
The Zigzag Tails Indicator, a groundbreaking tool from Trendoscope, redefines technical analysis by seamlessly integrating anchored VWAPs (Volume Weighted Average Prices) and Average Price calculations with Zigzag pivot points. This advanced indicator recalculates Average Price or VWAP from one Zigzag pivot to the next, offering unparalleled insights into market movements.
🎯 Innovative Design
Each Zigzag pivot can feature up to three distinct tails, corresponding to the high, low, and close prices of each candle. Users have the flexibility to select between Average Price and VWAP for display on their charts. By default, the indicator plots all three tails, but individual tail visibility is customizable via the settings panel.
Average Price Mode: When selected, tails depict the average price across a specified number of bars.
VWAP Mode: In this mode, tails represent the VWAP, calculated for a given price over a set number of bars.
🎯 Dynamic Dotted Tail
The Zigzag Tails Indicator features dotted tails that extend from the last Zigzag pivot to the current bar. These dotted tails dynamically adapt to market changes and are subject to repainting with the emergence of new Zigzag pivots.
When repainting is enabled, the dotted tails originate from the last unconfirmed Zigzag pivot, extending to the current bar. This setting offers a more immediate, albeit tentative, visual representation of market trends.
With repainting disabled, the dotted tails will be anchored from the last confirmed Zigzag pivot to the current bar, providing a more stable but slightly delayed market analysis.
Irrespective of the repaint option, the dotted dynamic tails is always expected to repaint.
🎯 Practical Applications
The Zigzag Tails Indicator provides more accurate support and resistance levels than traditional VWAP, rolling VWAP, or moving averages. Its precision makes it an invaluable tool for identifying trends, as well as potential trend continuations or reversals.
🛠 Indicator Settings
Zigzag Configuration:
Zigzag Length determines the loopback length for the foundational Zigzag calculation.
Number of Bars represent the calculation distance. This limitation is added to avoid runtime errors on lower timeframes. The calculations run through lots of loops. Hence, if it is run across too many bars, we may get timeout issues.
Repaint: Activating this will also display the last, unconfirmed Zigzag pivot. Since the last pivot is inherently tentative, it may repaint with the arrival of new bars. A pivot is confirmed only when a subsequent unconfirmed pivot emerges on the chart.
Tail Configuration
Tail Type: Choose between average and VWAP for the tail calculation. The average option plots a simple average, while the VWAP option calculates an anchored VWAP from pivot to pivot.
Display Options: Tailored display options for High, Low, Close prices, with customizable colors for each tail type.

█ Moving Average
Moving Averages are price based, lagging (or reactive) indicators that display the average price of a security over a set period of time.
A Moving Average is a good way to gauge momentum as well as to confirm trends, and define areas of support and resistance.
█ Bollinger Bands
Bollinger Bands consist of a band of three lines which are plotted in relation to security prices.
The line in the middle is usually a Simple Moving Average (SMA) set to a period of 20 days (the type of trend line and period can be changed by the trader, a 20 day moving average is by far the most popular).
The SMA then serves as a base for the Upper and Lower Bands which are used as a way to measure volatility by observing the relationship between the Bands and price.
█ Rolling VWAP
The typical VWAP is designed to be used on intraday charts, as it resets at the beginning of the day.
Such VWAPs cannot be used on daily, weekly or monthly charts. Instead, this rolling VWAP uses a time period that automatically adjusts to the chart's timeframe.
You can thus use the rolling VWAP on any chart that includes volume information in its data feed.
Because the rolling VWAP uses a moving window, it does not exhibit the jumpiness of VWAP plots that reset.

█ Gaussian Filter
Gaussian filter can be used for smoothing.
It rejects high frequencies (fast movements) better than an EMA and has lower lag.
A Gaussian filter is one whose transfer response is described by the familiar Gaussian bell-shaped curve.
In the case of low-pass filters, only the upper half of the curve describes the filter.
The use of gaussian filters is a move toward achieving the dual goal of reducing lag and reducing the lag of high-frequency components relative to the lag of lower-frequency components.

Rolling VWAP█ OVERVIEW
This indicator displays a Rolling Volume-Weighted Average Price. Contrary to VWAP indicators which reset at the beginning of a new time segment, RVWAP calculates using a moving window defined by a time period (not a simple number of bars), so it never resets.
█ CONCEPTS
If you are not already familiar with VWAP, our Help Center will get you started.
The typical VWAP is designed to be used on intraday charts, as it resets at the beginning of the day. Such VWAPs cannot be used on daily, weekly or monthly charts. Instead, this rolling VWAP uses a time period that automatically adjusts to the chart's timeframe. You can thus use RVWAP on any chart that includes volume information in its data feed.
Because RVWAP uses a moving window, it does not exhibit the jumpiness of VWAP plots that reset. You can see the more jagged VWAP on the chart above. We think both can be useful to traders; up to you to decide which flavor works for you.
█ HOW TO USE IT
Load the indicator on an active chart (see the Help Center if you don't know how).
Time period
By default, the script uses an auto-stepping mechanism to adjust the time period of its moving window to the chart's timeframe. The following table shows chart timeframes and the corresponding time period used by the script. When the chart's timeframe is less than or equal to the timeframe in the first column, the second column's time period is used to calculate RVWAP:
Chart Time
timeframe period
1min 🠆 1H
5min 🠆 4H
1H 🠆 1D
4H 🠆 3D
12H 🠆 1W
1D 🠆 1M
1W 🠆 3M
You can use the script's inputs to specify a fixed time period, which you can express in any combination of days, hours and minutes.
By default, the time period currently used is displayed in the lower-right corner of the chart. The script's inputs allow you to hide the display or change its size and location.
Minimum Window Size
This input field determines the minimum number of values to keep in the moving window, even if these values are outside the prescribed time period. This mitigates situations where a large time gap between two bars would cause the time window to be empty, which can occur in non-24x7 markets where large time gaps may separate contiguous chart bars, namely across holidays or trading sessions. For example, if you were using a 1D time period and there is a two-day gap between two bars, then no chart bars would fit in the moving window after the gap. The default value is 10 bars.
█ NOTES
If you are interested in VWAP indicators, you may find the VWAP Auto Anchored built-in indicator worth a try.
For Pine Script™ coders
The heart of this script's calculations uses the `totalForTimeWhen()` function from the ConditionalAverages library published by PineCoders . It works by maintaining an array of values included in a time period, but without a for loop requiring a lookback from the current bar, so it is much more efficient.
We write our Pine Script™ code using the recommendations in the User Manual's Style Guide .

Multi VWAP for Wick HunterCredit: honeybadgermakesfunnymoney for this Open Source Script
Published:
This is a tool that will allow you to visualize Wick Hunter's calcation of VWAP. Wick Hunter uses this calcuation for its Liqudations Bots.
There are four settings that you need to be configured to visualize your VWAP Band:
Long VWAP - The distance from current VWAP price, in %, that price must be UNDER when a liquidation event occurs to meet your you VWAP condition. The higher the value, the more price must move below the current VWAP price for it to enter a LONG position.
Short VWAP - The distance from current VWAP price, in %, that price must be ABOVE when a liquidation event occurs to meet your you VWAP condition. The higher the value, the more price must move above the current VWAP price for it to enter a SHORT position.
VWAP Timeframe - Select the timeframe you want the VWAP to be measured on.
VWAP Periods: Input the time period over which you want the VWAP to be measured over. For example, if you use "5" for this and "15" for VWAP Timeframe. The VWAP will be calculated based on the last five 15 minute candles.
You can play around with these settings using the indicator provide above. The indicator will print a triangle when the conditon for VWAP is met for a long for short trade. Play around with these settings. A few good timeframes that are popular are 5 minute, 15 minute, and one hour (60 minute). As far as periods, the most common settings are between 5 periods and 15 periods. In general the lower the timeframe and periods and closer VWAP will follow price.
HYE Combo Market [Strategy] (Vwap Mean Reversion + Trend Hunter)In this strategy, I used a combination of trend hunter and vwap mean reversion strategies that I published before.

The results are quite impressive, especially for bitcoin.
While the hodl return for bitcoin was 13419%, the strategy's return in the same period was about 5 times (65000%) of this.
s3.tradingview.com
In this combo strategy, I made some changes to the original settings of the strategies used together and added some more new features.
Trend Hunter Strategy Settings: (Original / Combo)
- Slow Tenkansen Period : 9 / 9
- Slow Kijunsen Period : 26 / 13
- Fast Tenkansen Period : 5 / 3
- Fast Kijunsen Period : 13 / 7
- BB Length : 20 / 20
- BB Stdev : 2 / 2
- TSV Length : 13 / 20
- TSV Ema Length : 7 / 7
* I also added a "vidya moving average" to be used as a confirmation tool to open a long position. (Candle close must be above the vidya line.)
Vwap Mean Reversion Strategy Settings: (Original / Combo)
- Small Vwap : 2 / 8
- Big Vwap : 5 / 10
- Percent Below to Buy : 3 / 2

TrendWave VWAP Indicator with ATR-based SignalsThe TrendWave VWAP Indicator with ATR-Based Signals is a robust TradingView tool for traders who prioritize precision and adaptability. This indicator combines the Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with the Average True Range (ATR) to provide actionable entry and exit signals while dynamically filtering out sideways market conditions. Designed with flexibility in mind, the indicator offers extensive customization options to tailor signals and filtering to individual trading styles.
Key Features and Customizable Settings
VWAP Integration
VWAP offers a volume-weighted benchmark, ideal for tracking price trends in relation to average trading levels. Customization: Traders can enable or disable VWAP functionality via a toggle, allowing easy adjustments based on market conditions or strategy preferences.
ATR-Based Signal Levels
ATR provides volatility-based levels for precise entry and exit points by measuring average price range. Customization: Traders can set the ATR length (default: 14) and the multiplier (default: 1.5) for adjusting sensitivity. A sideways threshold can be set to control the ATR value at which the indicator pauses signals, helping to avoid low-volatility markets.
Signal Cooldown
To reduce noise in choppy conditions, a signal cooldown enforces a minimum number of bars between signals. Customization: The cooldown period (default: 10 bars) can be adjusted to match preferred trading frequency and discipline requirements.
Signal Logic
Long Entry: Activated when price crosses above the VWAP in a trending market. Cooldown applies to avoid consecutive signals.
Long Exit: Triggered when price crosses below the VWAP.
Short Entry: Initiated when price crosses below the VWAP, in non-sideways conditions.
Short Exit: Occurs when price crosses back above the VWAP following a short position.
Visual Indicators
The VWAP is displayed as a line on the chart for easy trend reference. Entry and exit signals are clearly marked with color-coded shapes, enhancing readability without clutter.
Practical Application
The TrendWave VWAP Indicator with ATR-Based Signals provides tailored entries and exits for trending markets. Its customization options make it suitable for traders who require flexibility and precision in varying market conditions. ⭐ Overview and How It Works:
This script provides a multi-asset analysis tool to assess various market conditions across four symbols simultaneously. It combines several indicators such as daily price change, Moving Averages (MA), Bollinger Bands (BB), Parabolic SAR, RSI, and VWAP to generate buy/sell signals and trend indicators. Its strength lies in the layered use of indicators to enhance signal reliability, making it valuable for traders needing cross-validation in decision-making.
⭐ Key Features and Functionality:
The script evaluates each symbol's price against various indicators and conditions:
Daily Price Conditions: It checks if each symbol’s close price is above or below the previous day’s open, close, and intra-day ranges, forming a foundational bullish/bearish condition.
Range Breakout 1st 5min Candle (ORB): Opening Range Breakout levels are calculated and compared with current close prices, detecting breakout/breakdown conditions.
ORB Body: This basically calculates the previous day Daily candle body size, if todays Daily candle body size is greater than previous day, then we can say that we are having good momentum else its likely to be in-sidebar trading.
Moving Averages (MA): It leverages EMA-20, 2-day, and 3-day exponential moving averages to gauge short to medium-term trends.
RSI and VWAP: Relative Strength Index (RSI) determines overbought or oversold conditions, while VWAP compares prices to volume-weighted levels.
Bollinger Bands and Trend Analysis: Detects volatility and potential breakout conditions.
Concept of ORB Body:
Current_PrevDay_Body = (math.max(var_Current_PrevD_Open, var_Current_PrevD_Close) - math.min(var_Current_PrevD_Open, var_Current_PrevD_Close))
Current_Upper_ORB = var_Current_D_Open + Current_PrevDay_Body
Current_Lower_ORB = var_Current_D_Open - Current_PrevDay_Body
Current_TodayDay_Body = math.max(var_Current_D_Open, var_Current_Close) - math.min(var_Current_D_Open, var_Current_Close)
Current_ORBBody = Current_TodayDay_Body > Current_PrevDay_Body
Current_Upper_ORB_bull = (var_Current_Close > Current_Upper_ORB)
Current_Lower_ORB_bear = (var_Current_Close < Current_Lower_ORB)
🎨 Visualizations and User Experience:
The script can dynamically display colored backgrounds indicating trends when conditions are met. For example, the bgcolor function changes the background when certain trend-based criteria are satisfied, offering visual cues to users. Additionally, the checkbox input toggles trend bar visualizations, enhancing user experience by providing a quick visual reference without needing to interpret individual data points manually.
RSI-Based Candle Coloring:
➤ The script customizes candle colors based on RSI thresholds, specifically defining upper (60) and lower (40) RSI levels. When the RSI value exceeds the upper threshold, candles are colored as bullish (green), and if it falls below the lower threshold, candles are colored as bearish (red). Neutral RSI values result in a default color (gray).
➤ This setup offers a visually intuitive way to identify potential trend directions based on RSI levels, making it ideal for traders looking to gauge momentum visually.
⭐ Settings and Customization:
With multiple user-configurable inputs, the script allows for tailored analysis. Customizable parameters, such as enabling/disabling trend bars and setting various look-back periods for indicators like Bollinger Bands and Moving Averages, make it adaptable to various trading styles and preferences. It also allows users to modify visual elements like colors and styles, improving flexibility.
⭐ Uniqueness of the Concept:
The unique aspect of this script is its multi-symbol approach combined with complex conditions. By comparing not only one but four symbols simultaneously, it provides a broader market view and allows traders to correlate signals across different assets, offering a potential edge for diversified or comparative strategies. Additionally, the incorporation of ORB and multi-timeframe MAs gives it a robustness often lacking in simpler single-symbol scripts.
🚀 Conclusion:
This script is a powerful multi-indicator tool suited for traders looking for a comparative, multi-symbol analysis. With features like ORB, Bollinger Band-based trend detection, and MA cross-verification, it can assist traders in identifying and validating trend signals across assets. The user-friendly visualizations and customizable settings further enhance its usability, making it versatile for various trading strategies and preferences.

Custom Fixed AVWAP indicators:
Prior Week-to-Date
Prior Month-to-Date
Prior Year-to-Date
Fed rate decision
Inflation report
GDP report
Jobs report
3 more labeled Custom1-3
These custom locations will allow the user to anchor the VWAP to meaningful dates and times in the market. Often there are large moves due to global macro events that can give the trader an edge by referencing the VWAP to the date and time.
Labels and Display
There are options to turn on and off any of the AVWAPs, as well as turning on and off the display labels below the candles.
Market VWAPsIt's annoying to have to redraw the anchored VWAPs over and over, so I wrote an indicator that will create an anchored VWAP for every session and daily open.
Session times are configurable. Disable the ones in Styles that you don't need.
Enjoy!

VWOP: Volume Weighted & Oscillated PriceWhile playing around with the standard "ta.vwap" I wondered why there was no length input, so I did some research on what the underlying calculation actually is, and did my best to augment it so as to allow for a variable length based on an oscillator value.
Normal VWAP = (Number of Shares Bought x Typical Price) / Total Volume
In my VWOP Calculation, typical price is replaced by selected moving average type or "matype" and then multiplied by the volume.
Then a total value is calculated using math.sum with a length value that changes according to a selected oscillator's value. The total is then divided by
the sum of just volume using the same oscillating length value. Result is then passed through the selected"matype" once more to give the final result.
Indicator designed for use as a entry/exit indicator in conjunction with more traditional moving averages and/or signal filters. Useful for taking volume + an oscillator into account along with price, instead of just the price as with a simple moving average.
Volatility Stop with Vwap StrategyFirst the credits goes to @TradingView for their release of the volatility stop mtf indicator.
I have took it, and inside I have added a weekly vwap for a better trend direction and at the same time I have added a dynamic risk managment which is calculated from the distance between the volatility line to the close of the candle.
The rules for entry are simple:
For long:We enter when our close of the candle is above the volatility stop line and at the same time the close of the candle is above weekly vwap
For short we enter when our close of the candle is below the volatility stop line and at the same time the close of the candle is below weekly vwap.
We exit when we either have a reverse signal than the one we enterred, or based on the TP/SL which is calculated with the distance from vwap to the close of the candle.

Bank Nifty ScalpingThis indicator is designed for scalping purposes.
Users have the option to input the desired source and enable or disable the following indicators:
Multiple EMA (Exponential moving average)
Simultaneously displays multiple moving averages to quickly identify shifts in momentum and obtain confirmation from slower-moving averages.
By default, the EMA display settings are configured to show the 20-day EMA and the 200-day EMA. However, users have the flexibility to modify the display settings according to their preferences. This means that users can customize the indicator to show the EMA values of their choice, such as EMA 50 and EMA 100.
VWAP ( Volume weighted average price )
Default value is set to ‘hl2’
A bullish trend is indicated when the price is above the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), while a bearish trend is indicated when the price is below the VWAP.
VWMA ( Volume weighted moving average )
In the VWMA (Volume Weighted Moving Average) indicator, a default value of 20 is used. If the price is higher than the VWMA, it typically indicates a bullish trend. Conversely, if the price is lower than the VWMA, it suggests a bearish trend. The VWMA takes into account both price and volume, providing a weighted average that can help identify shifts in market sentiment.
Multiple SuperTrends
Default value is 10 and 2 / 10 and 3
A bullish trend is identified when the price is above the SuperTrend indicator, whereas a bearish trend is observed when the price is below the SuperTrend indicator.
Camarilla Pivot Points (Level 3 and 4 only)
Levels 3 and 4 serve as crucial support and resistance levels, acting as the final line of defense against strong trends. These levels are expected to generate reversals, where price often changes direction.
CPR ( Central Pivot Points)
The Daily Central Pivot Point Indicator is a popular tool used in technical analysis. It calculates several levels based on the previous day's high, low, and closing prices.
Strong Volume
The user has the ability to set the average volume for Nifty and BankNifty indices to calculate strong volume.
Elder Impulse System
The Impulse System, developed by Alexander Elder and discussed in his book "New Trading for a Living," is a censorship trading system designed to determine whether a trade should be allowed or prohibited. Additionally, it can be used to identify when a trend is starting to weaken. The Impulse System relies on the following factors:
1. Slope of a Fast Exponential Moving Average (EMA): The fast EMA's slope reflects the price's inertia or momentum.
2. Slope of the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD): The MACD's slope indicates the strength or power of the price movement.
Based on these factors, the Impulse System categorizes candles or price bars into three colors:
* Green Candle: When both the fast EMA and MACD are rising, indicating upward momentum.
* Red Candle: When both the fast EMA and MACD are declining, suggesting downward momentum.
* Blue Candle: In all other cases where the conditions for green or red candles are not met, representing a neutral or uncertain market condition.
By applying the Impulse System, traders can gain insights into the market trend, its strength, and potential shifts in momentum, helping them make informed trading decisions.

Bogdan Ciocoiu - Sniper EntryWhat is Sniper Entry
Sniper Entry is a set indicator that encapsulates a collection of pre-configured scripts using specific variables that enable users to extract signals by interpreting market behaviour quickly, suitable for 1-3min scalping. This instrument is a tool that acts as a confluence for traders to make decisions concerning current market conditions. This indicator does not apply solely to an asset.
What Sniper Entry is not
Sniper Entry is not interpreting fundamental analysis and will also not be providing out of box market signals. Instead, it will provide a collection of integrated and significantly improved open-source subscripts designed to help traders speculate on market trends. Traders must apply their strategies and configure Sniper Entry accordingly to maximise the script's output.
Originality and usefulness
The collection of subscripts encapsulated in this tool makes it unique in the Trading View ecosystem. This indicator enables traders to consider entry positions or exit positions by comparing similar algorithms at once.
Its usefulness also emerges from the unique configurations embedded in the indicator's settings, which are different from those of the original scripts.
This indicator's originality is also reflected in how its modules are integrated, including the integration of the settings.
Open-source reuse
I used the following open-source resources, which I simplified significantly and pre-configured for short term scalping. The source codes for the below are already in the public domain, including the following links listed below.

rth vwapPlots the RTH (regular trading hours) VWAP. This is intended for instruments with volume only and mostly for futures. Time zone is set to EST, but start and end times of the VWAP can be configured. Standard setting is set to US equity index futures regular trading hours of 9:30 EST to 16:00 EST.
AggBands (v1) [qrsq]The "AggBands" indicator is a custom trading indicator designed to provide a consolidated view of the price action across multiple assets or trading pairs. It combines the price data from multiple tickers and calculates an aggregated price using user-defined weights for each ticker.
The indicator starts by defining the tickers to be included in the aggregation. You can choose from predefined configurations such as "BTC PAIRS," "CRYPTO TOTAL MARKET CAP," "TOP 5 PAIRS," "TOP 5 MEMECOINS," "SPX," "DXY," or "FANG." Each configuration includes specific tickers or indices relevant to the chosen category.
The indicator then fetches the closing, high, and low prices for each ticker and applies the user-defined weights to calculate the aggregated prices. The aggregated prices are normalized within a specified length to provide a consistent scale across different assets or pairs.
Next, the indicator calculates the midpoint, which is the average of the highest high and lowest low of the aggregated prices over a specified aggregation period.
To assess the volatility, the indicator calculates the price range and applies the Average True Range (ATR) indicator to determine the volatility value. The standard deviation is then computed using the price range and aggregation period, with an additional scaling factor applied to the volatility value.
Based on the standard deviation, the indicator generates multiple bands above and below the midpoint. By default, three standard deviation bands are calculated, but the user can choose between one and five bands. The upper and lower bands are smoothed using various moving average (MA) types, such as Simple Moving Average (SMA), Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Smoothed Moving Average (SMMA/RMA), Weighted Moving Average (WMA), Volume Weighted Moving Average (VWMA), Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP), or Arnaud Legoux Moving Average (ALMA). The user can also adjust the length, offset, and sigma parameters for the moving averages.
The indicator can optionally smooth the midpoint, upper bands, and lower bands using a separate set of moving average parameters.
The indicator can be useful for traders and analysts who want to gain a consolidated view of price movements across multiple assets or trading pairs. It helps identify trends, volatility, and potential support and resistance levels based on the aggregated price and standard deviation bands. Traders can use this information to make informed decisions about trading strategies, risk management, and market analysis.
