Bullish and Bearish Harami DetectorHere’s a description of the script I built for you, designed for a **TradingView public indicator**:
### **Custom Bullish and Bearish Harami Detector with Timeframe Selection**
This custom Pine Script detects **Bullish Harami** and **Bearish Harami** candlestick patterns on the selected timeframe, with configurable settings for how many prior candles to consider for pattern detection.
---
### **Features:**
1. **Timeframe Selection:**
- **Input Field for Timeframe**: The script allows users to choose the timeframe for detecting patterns. For instance, you can set it to 1 hour, 4 hours, or even daily candles, ensuring the detection works as per your chosen market view.
- This is controlled by the `input.timeframe` function, and the user is prompted to select the desired timeframe (e.g., "1h", "4h", "1d").
2. **Enable/Disable Pattern Detection:**
- The user has the flexibility to enable or disable the detection of **Bullish Harami** and **Bearish Harami** patterns.
- The two toggles `detectBullishHarami` and `detectBearishHarami` allow users to turn on/off the detection for each pattern type.
3. **Customizable Bearish Candle Count for Bullish Harami:**
- The user can define how many prior **bearish candles** should be present before a **Bullish Harami** can be detected.
- The input variable `bearishCandleCountBullish` lets you choose how many previous bearish candles to consider for detecting a **Bullish Harami** (for example, the last 3, 5, or 6 bearish candles).
4. **Customizable Bullish Candle Count for Bearish Harami:**
- Similar to the Bullish Harami, the script allows the user to define how many prior **bullish candles** should be present before a **Bearish Harami** pattern is detected.
- The input variable `bearishCandleCountBearish` lets you select how many previous bullish candles to check for **Bearish Harami**.
5. **Pattern Detection Logic:**
- **Bullish Harami**: Detected when a bearish candle (open > close) is followed by a smaller bullish candle (open < close) where the entire body of the second candle is contained within the body of the first candle.
- **Bearish Harami**: Detected when a bullish candle (open < close) is followed by a smaller bearish candle (open > close) where the entire body of the second candle is contained within the body of the first candle.
- Both patterns are subject to the user-defined conditions (number of previous bearish or bullish candles).
6. **Visual Indicators:**
- **Bullish Harami**: A green label is plotted **below the bar** to indicate a **Bullish Harami** pattern.
- **Bearish Harami**: A red label is plotted **above the bar** to indicate a **Bearish Harami** pattern.
- The labels are displayed using the `plotshape` function with custom colors and text.
7. **Additional Settings**:
- The script includes tooltips and descriptions for each input to make the settings clear for users, allowing even those unfamiliar with candlestick patterns to understand and use the indicator effectively.
---
### **How It Works:**
- The script first checks the specified timeframe and identifies the current and previous candlesticks.
- It then applies the user-defined conditions for detecting the **Bullish Harami** and **Bearish Harami** patterns by checking the relative positions and sizes of the candlesticks over the selected number of previous candles.
- Once a pattern is detected, it plots a label on the chart (green for **Bullish Harami** and red for **Bearish Harami**) at the appropriate location (below or above the candle).
- The script updates dynamically as the price action unfolds.
---
### **Use Cases:**
- **Traders**: This script is useful for traders who want to identify reversal patterns like **Bullish Harami** and **Bearish Harami** on their chosen timeframes and adjust the sensitivity by changing the number of prior candles for pattern detection.
- **Customization**: Users can fine-tune the script’s settings based on their specific trading strategy, adjusting both the timeframe and the number of candles for pattern detection.
---
### **Conclusion:**
This indicator is an effective tool for detecting candlestick patterns, specifically **Bullish Harami** and **Bearish Harami**, on **TradingView**. By allowing customization in terms of timeframe and the number of prior candles to consider, users can tailor the script to fit their trading strategy and market conditions.

BINANCE-BYBIT Cross Chart: Spot-Perpetual CorrelationName: "Binance-Bybit Cross Chart: Spot-Perpetual Correlation"
Category: Scalping, Trend Analysis
Timeframe: 1M, 5M, 30M, 1D (depending on the specific technique)
Technical analysis: This indicator facilitates a comparison between the price movements shown on the Binance spot chart and the Bybit perpetual chart, with the aim of discerning the correlation between the two charts and identifying the dominant market trends. It automatically generates the corresponding chart based on the ticker selected in the primary chart. When a Binance pair is selected in the main chart, the indicator replicates the Bybit perpetual chart for the same pair and timeframe, and vice versa, selecting the Bybit perpetual chart as the primary chart generates the Binance spot chart.
Suggested use: You can utilize this tool to conduct altcoin trading on Binance or Bybit, facilitating the comparison of price actions and real-time monitoring of trigger point sensitivity across both exchanges. We recommend prioritizing the Binance Spot chart in the main panel due to its typically longer historical data availability compared to Bybit.
The primary objective is to efficiently and automatically manage the following three aspects:
- Data history analysis for higher timeframes, leveraging the extensive historical data of the Binance spot market. Variations in indicators such as slow moving averages may arise due to differences in historical data between exchanges.
- Assessment of coin liquidity on both exchanges by observing candlestick consistency on smaller timeframes or the absence of gaps. In the crypto market, clean charts devoid of gaps indicate dominance and offer enhanced reliability.
- Identification of precise trigger point levels, including daily, previous day, or previous week highs and lows, which serve as sensitive areas for breakout or reversal operations.
All-Time High (ATH) and All-Time Low (ATL) levels may vary significantly across exchanges due to disparities in historical data series.
This tool empowers traders to make informed decisions by leveraging historical data, liquidity insights, and precise trigger point identification across Binance Spot and Bybit Perpetual market.

Multi-Timeframe Trend Detector [Alifer]Here is an easy-to-use and customizable multi-timeframe visual trend indicator.
The indicator combines Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD), and Relative Strength Index (RSI) to determine the trend direction on various timeframes: 15 minutes (15M), 30 minutes (30M), 1 hour (1H), 4 hours (4H), 1 day (1D), and 1 week (1W).
EMA Trend : The script calculates two EMAs for each timeframe: a fast EMA and a slow EMA. If the fast EMA is greater than the slow EMA, the trend is considered Bullish; if the fast EMA is less than the slow EMA, the trend is considered Bearish.
MACD Trend : The script calculates the MACD line and the signal line for each timeframe. If the MACD line is above the signal line, the trend is considered Bullish; if the MACD line is below the signal line, the trend is considered Bearish.
RSI Trend : The script calculates the RSI for each timeframe. If the RSI value is above a specified Bullish level, the trend is considered Bullish; if the RSI value is below a specified Bearish level, the trend is considered Bearish. If the RSI value is between the Bullish and Bearish levels, the trend is Neutral, and no arrow is displayed.
Dashboard Display :
The indicator prints arrows on the dashboard to represent Bullish (▲ Green) or Bearish (▼ Red) trends for each timeframe.
You can easily adapt the Dashboard colors (Inputs > Theme) for visibility depending on whether you're using a Light or Dark theme for TradingView.
Usage :
You can adjust the indicator's settings such as theme (Dark or Light), EMA periods, MACD parameters, RSI period, and Bullish/Bearish levels to adapt it to your specific trading strategies and preferences.
Disclaimer :
This indicator is designed to quickly help you identify the trend direction on multiple timeframes and potentially make more informed trading decisions.
You should consider it as an extra tool to complement your strategy, but you should not solely rely on it for making trading decisions.
Always perform your own analysis and risk management before executing trades.
The indicator will only show a Dashboard. The EMAs, RSI and MACD you see on the chart image have been added just to demonstrate how the script works.
DETAILED SCRIPT EXPLANATION
INPUTS:
theme : Allows selecting the color theme (options: "Dark" or "Light").
emaFastPeriod : The period for the fast EMA.
emaSlowPeriod : The period for the slow EMA.
macdFastLength : The fast length for MACD calculation.
macdSlowLength : The slow length for MACD calculation.
macdSignalLength : The signal length for MACD calculation.
rsiPeriod : The period for RSI calculation.
rsiBullishLevel : The level used to determine Bullish RSI condition, when RSI is above this value. It should always be higher than rsiBearishLevel.
rsiBearishLevel : The level used to determine Bearish RSI condition, when RSI is below this value. It should always be lower than rsiBullishLevel.
CALCULATIONS:
The script calculates EMAs on multiple timeframes (15-minute, 30-minute, 1-hour, 4-hour, daily, and weekly) using the request.security() function.
Similarly, the script calculates MACD values ( macdLine , signalLine ) on the same multiple timeframes using the request.security() function along with the ta.macd() function.
RSI values are also calculated for each timeframe using the request.security() function along with the ta.rsi() function.
The script then determines the EMA trends for each timeframe by comparing the fast and slow EMAs using simple boolean expressions.
Similarly, it determines the MACD trends for each timeframe by comparing the MACD line with the signal line.
Lastly, it determines the RSI trends for each timeframe by comparing the RSI values with the Bullish and Bearish RSI levels.
PLOTTING AND DASHBOARD:
Color codes are defined based on the EMA, MACD, and RSI trends for each timeframe. Green for Bullish, Red for Bearish.
A dashboard is created using the table.new() function, displaying the trend information for each timeframe with arrows representing Bullish or Bearish conditions.
The dashboard will appear in the top-right corner of the chart, showing the Bullish and Bearish trends for each timeframe (15M, 30M, 1H, 4H, 1D, and 1W) based on EMA, MACD, and RSI analysis. Green arrows represent Bullish trends, red arrows represent Bearish trends, and no arrows indicate Neutral conditions.
INFO ON USED INDICATORS:
1 — EXPONENTIAL MOVING AVERAGE (EMA)
The Exponential Moving Average (EMA) is a type of moving average (MA) that places a greater weight and significance on the most recent data points.
The EMA is calculated by taking the average of the true range over a specified period. The true range is the greatest of the following:
The difference between the current high and the current low.
The difference between the previous close and the current high.
The difference between the previous close and the current low.
The EMA can be used by traders to produce buy and sell signals based on crossovers and divergences from the historical average. Traders often use several different EMA lengths, such as 10-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages.
The formula for calculating EMA is as follows:
Compute the Simple Moving Average (SMA).
Calculate the multiplier for weighting the EMA.
Calculate the current EMA using the following formula:
EMA = Closing price x multiplier + EMA (previous day) x (1-multiplier)
2 — MOVING AVERAGE CONVERGENCE DIVERGENCE (MACD)
The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) is a popular trend-following momentum indicator used in technical analysis. It helps traders identify changes in the strength, direction, momentum, and duration of a trend in a financial instrument's price.
The MACD is calculated by subtracting a longer-term Exponential Moving Average (EMA) from a shorter-term EMA. The most commonly used time periods for the MACD are 26 periods for the longer EMA and 12 periods for the shorter EMA. The difference between the two EMAs creates the main MACD line.
Additionally, a Signal Line (usually a 9-period EMA) is computed, representing a smoothed version of the MACD line. Traders watch for crossovers between the MACD line and the Signal Line, which can generate buy and sell signals. When the MACD line crosses above the Signal Line, it generates a bullish signal, indicating a potential uptrend. Conversely, when the MACD line crosses below the Signal Line, it generates a bearish signal, indicating a potential downtrend.
In addition to the MACD line and Signal Line crossovers, traders often look for divergences between the MACD and the price chart. Divergence occurs when the MACD is moving in the opposite direction of the price, which can suggest a potential trend reversal.
3 — RELATIVE STRENGHT INDEX (RSI):
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is another popular momentum oscillator used by traders to assess the overbought or oversold conditions of a financial instrument. The RSI ranges from 0 to 100 and measures the speed and change of price movements.
The RSI is calculated based on the average gain and average loss over a specified period, commonly 14 periods. The formula involves several steps:
Calculate the average gain over the specified period.
Calculate the average loss over the specified period.
Calculate the relative strength (RS) by dividing the average gain by the average loss.
Calculate the RSI using the following formula: RSI = 100 - (100 / (1 + RS))
The RSI oscillates between 0 and 100, where readings above 70 are considered overbought, suggesting that the price may have risen too far and could be due for a correction. Readings below 30 are considered oversold, suggesting that the price may have dropped too much and could be due for a rebound.
Traders often use the RSI to identify potential trend reversals. For example, when the RSI crosses above 30 from below, it may indicate the start of an uptrend, and when it crosses below 70 from above, it may indicate the start of a downtrend. Additionally, traders may look for bullish or bearish divergences between the RSI and the price chart, similar to the MACD analysis, to spot potential trend changes.
PinBar Detector [Mr_Zed]Pinbar Detector is a technical analysis tool designed to detect Pinbar patterns in financial markets. Pinbars are reversal patterns that indicate a potential change in trend.
This indicator is based on an existing Pinbar detector in MQ4/5 format, originally developed by "earnforex".
The PineScript version is written to work in TradingView, and can be applied to any chart to identify Pinbar formations. The indicator uses specific criteria to identify Pinbars, such as the length of the wick and the relationship between the wick and the body of the candlestick. By displaying the Pinbars on the chart, traders can make informed decisions about entering or exiting trades based on their analysis of the market's potential trend reversal.

AfterHours Spike DetectorThe script pulls Lower Timeframe (30min) data to draw High/Low of Out-of-hours/AfterHours session (post-market session & next day pre-market session) on the Daily regular session chart. It then identifies significant AfterHours price changes and what happens to these price Spikes by the Open of the next day regular session.
You can change:
wether to show AfterHours High/Lows
wether to show AfterHours price Spikes
the AfterHours price Spike threshold (default = +/- 10%)
OJLJ Elliott Waves detector (Free)This script is made to identify Elliot Waves by setting a zigzag line as principal source, it identifies patterns with the most common rules, in the chart you will see a number in each wave detected, a wave could have the characteristics to be two different waves so it will be plotted the options that could be, To identify which one is most trustable I suggest to use the Fibonacci levels options as an additional note this is a free update to my existing script.
Features:
+ All waves ? (Option to show just the 5 Wave patterns recognition)
+ Draw zigzag line (Option to show the zigzag line)
+ Supports Multiple instruments, from FOREX to Stocks
+ It works on all the timeframes
+ Show Fib levels (Option to show the Fibonacci levels)
+ Fibonacci levels fit test (Green crosses mark were should a Bull wave be to fit with a Fibonacci Level While the purple crosses show were should the wave fit to be a bear trend, the more closer with the point of the wave the most trustable Example, a 5 Wave Bull could also be a 2 Bear Wave, if the green cross is closer to the orange point of the wave then is a 5 Wave Bull, if the purple cross is closer to the orange point)
+ A background color also show when a 5 pattern is identified
+ The way to plot the zigzag can be changed with 3 Input options
Characteristics to add in future updates (Please if you like it you can support me with coins):
+ Detect more than 1 cycle at the same time
+ Use a volume indicator to identify how many volume was traded in each wave
+ Implement the use of the EWO ( Elliot Wave Oscillator)
+ Improve the display
+ Identify ABC patterns
+ Add triangles and Zigzag formations
Volume TrendsThis script provides clear volume trends on any time frame. You set a long term volume trend moving average (ex 100 periods). A shorter term MA of your choice (10 in this example) will oscillate above and below based on the standard deviations of its current value relative to the long term #.
Similarly, large volume bars are plotted in terms of st dev above the long term MA.
Very useful in spotting capitulation bottoms and/or blow-off tops.
Dump Detector - Hull Moving AverageDump Detecter uses HMA (Hull Moving Average) to detect dumps/downtrends. Can be used as an exit trigger for long bots or an entry trigger for short bots. Pump signals can be turned on with tickbox.
Ehlers AM Detector [CC]The AM Detector was created by John Ehlers (Stocks and Commodities May 2021 pg 14) and this is his first volatility indicator I believe. Since this is a more informational indicator rather than a buy or sell signal generator, I have included buy and sell signals for a simple moving average but feel free to use this in combo with any other system you use. Buy when the line turns green and sell when it turns red.
Let me know if there are any other indicators you would like to see me publish!
Tweezer Scanner v1Some code for detecting tweezer candles, which are reversal patterns. You'll need to tweak the settings to be either less strict (more detections) or more strict (less detections). I found that if you follow the documentation for tweezers exactly, you will get very few detections. It is possible that this candlestick has become overused, so the original pattern itself has been lost to the noise of the market.
Settings:
1. Tweezer Max Body Height (Pips) - How tall can the body of the tweezer be, in pips (increase this pips to increase detections)
2. Tweezer Body Similarity (>%) - How similar should the body heights be, higher percentage is more similar (reduce this % to increase detections)
3. Tweezer Tail Similarity (>%) - How similar should the tail heights be, higher percentage is more similar (reduce this % to increase detections)
4. Tweezer Tail Proportion (<%) - How short should the opposite tail heights be, lower percentage is shorter and more similar to the documentation (increase this % to increase detections)
Marubozu Scanner v1Some code for detecting the very rare occurrences of the Marubozu candle. This candle occurs when the High = Close, and Low = Open, or vice versa. They are continuation candles, so if you see a bullish Marubozu during an uptrend its possible that the uptrend will continue.
Doji Scanner v1A scanner for detecting Doji Candles.
Adjust the maximum allowable height of a Doji Candle's body, depending on the currency pair or asset.
Enhanced Instantaneous Cycle Period - Dr. John EhlersThis is my first public release of detector code entitled "Enhanced Instantaneous Cycle Period" for PSv4.0 I built many months ago. Be forewarned, this is not an indicator, this is a detector to be used by ADVANCED developers to build futuristic indicators in Pine. The origins of this script come from a document by Dr. John Ehlers entitled "SIGNAL ANALYSIS CONCEPTS". You may find this using the NSA's reverse search engine "goggles", as I call it. John Ehlers' MESA used this measurement to establish the data window for analysis for MESA Cycle computations. So... does any developer wish to emulate MESA Cycle now??
I decided to take instantaneous cycle period to another level of novel attainability in this public release of source code with the following methods, if you are curious how I ENHANCED it. Firstly I reduced the delay of accurate measurement from bar_index==0 by quite a few bars closer to IPO. Secondarily, I provided a limit of 6 for a minimum instantaneous cycle period. At bar_index==0, it would provide a period of 0 wrecking many algorithms from the start. I also increased the instantaneous cycle period's maximum value to 80 from 50, providing a window of 6-80 for the instantaneous cycle period value window limits. Thirdly, I replaced the internal EMA with another algorithm. It reduces the lag while extracting a floating point number, for algorithms that will accept that, compared to a sluggish ordinary EMA return. You will see the excessive EMA delay with adding plot(ema(ICP,7)) as it was originally designed. Lastly it's in one simple function for reusability in a nice little package comprising of less than 40 lines of code. I hope I explained that adequately enough and gave you the reader a glimpse of the "Power of Pine" combined with ingenuity.
Be forewarned again, that most of Pine's built-in functions will not accept a floating-point number or dynamic integers for the "length" of it's calculation. You will have to emulate the built-in functions by creating Pine based custom functions, and I assure you, this is very possible in many cases, but not all without array support. You may use int(ICP) to extract an integer from the smoothICP return variable, which may be favorable compared to the choppiness/ringing if ICP alone.
This is commonly what my dense intricate code looks like behind the veil. If you are wondering why there is barely any notation, that's because the notation is in the variable naming and this is intended primarily for ADVANCED developers too. It does contain lines of code that explore techniques in Pine that may be applicable in other Pine projects for those learning or wishing to excel with Pine.
