stelaraX - Stochastic RSI

stelaraX – Stochastic RSI
stelaraX – Stochastic RSI is a momentum oscillator designed to apply stochastic calculations to RSI values rather than raw price data. This approach increases sensitivity and helps identify short-term overbought and oversold conditions with greater precision.
This indicator is part of the stelaraX ecosystem, focused on clean technical analysis and AI-supported chart evaluation

Core logic
The Stochastic RSI measures where the current RSI value sits relative to its recent high–low range and smooths the result to reduce noise.
Key principles:
* RSI is calculated from the selected price source
* stochastic normalization is applied to RSI values
* the %K line represents fast momentum changes
* the %D line provides smoothed confirmation
* values oscillate between 0 and 100
* extreme readings indicate overbought or oversold conditions
Crossovers between %K and %D often highlight short-term momentum shifts.
Visualization
The script plots:
* the %K line in a separate indicator pane
* the %D signal line for confirmation
* upper and lower threshold levels highlighting momentum extremes
* a filled background zone emphasizing the active momentum range
This layout makes rapid momentum changes and extreme conditions easy to identify.
Use case
This indicator is intended for:
* identifying short-term overbought and oversold conditions
* timing mean-reversion entries and exits
* detecting momentum reversals
* confirming pullbacks within larger trends
* supporting scalping and short-term trading strategies
It works best on lower timeframes or when combined with higher-timeframe trend filters and AI-assisted chart analysis.
