Gamma Levels Pro

30
Overview
A comprehensive institutional-grade indicator that displays critical options-related price levels, session extremes, and volume delta analysis for major index futures and ETFs. Designed for traders who understand market structure, order flow, and options positioning impact on price action.
What This Indicator Shows
Gamma Exposure Levels
Call Wall & Put Wall - Major support and resistance zones created by options market maker hedging activity. These levels act as price magnets and often cap intraday moves.
Volatility Trigger - Critical price level where market volatility tends to accelerate. Crossing this level often leads to increased price velocity and wider ranges.
Zero Gamma (ZeroΓ) - The pivotal line that divides market regimes:

Above Zero Gamma: Negative gamma environment where dealer hedging amplifies price moves (trend/momentum favorable)
Below Zero Gamma: Positive gamma environment where dealer hedging dampens price moves (mean reversion favorable)

Large Gamma Levels (LG1-LG4) - Secondary support/resistance zones with significant options positioning. Useful for intraday pivots and scalp targets.
Combo Levels (★1-★4) - Confluence zones where multiple options strikes and positioning overlap, creating strong technical levels.
Blind Spot Levels (BL) - Areas with reduced options market maker hedging activity, often resulting in thin liquidity and fast price moves through these zones.
Session Levels
Prior Day High/Low (PDH/PDL) - Previous regular trading session's price extremes. Critical reference levels for gap trading and session positioning.
Overnight High/Low (ONH/ONL) - Price extremes from the overnight session (regular close to next day open). Essential for understanding pre-market context and key breakout/breakdown levels.
Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD)
Session-Resetting CVD - Tracks buying vs. selling pressure by approximating volume distribution within each bar. Resets at the start of each regular trading session for clean intraday analysis.
Divergence Detection - Automatically identifies institutional absorption patterns:

"Abs▼" Labels: Bearish absorption (price makes higher high but CVD makes lower high = distribution)
"Abs▲" Labels: Bullish absorption (price makes lower low but CVD makes higher low = accumulation)

Cross-Symbol Functionality
ES Levels on NQ Charts - Display ES (S&P E-mini) levels when viewing NQ (Nasdaq) or MNQ (Micro Nasdaq) charts. Since ES options volume significantly exceeds NQ, these levels often lead NQ price action.
NQ Levels on MNQ Charts - Show full-size NQ futures levels on Micro NQ charts for better institutional level visibility.
Key Features
Smart Level Management
✅ Distance Filtering - Option to show only levels within X% of current price to reduce chart clutter
✅ Intelligent Grouping - Automatically combines nearby levels (within customizable threshold) into single labels
✅ Nearest Level Highlighting - Emphasizes the closest support and resistance levels with enhanced line width and reduced transparency
✅ Distance Display - Shows exact points and percentage distance from current price on each label
Professional Display
📊 Level Summary Table - Sortable table showing all active levels ranked by distance from price, with color-coded categories
📊 Status Dashboard - Real-time display of session state, active level types, and current session high/low
📊 CVD Metrics - Session CVD value, session high, and session low displayed in summary table
Customization Options
🎨 Full Style Control - Customize colors, line styles (solid/dashed/dotted), and line widths for every level type
🎨 Label Positioning - Choose label placement (above/below price) and offset distance
🎨 Selective Display - Toggle individual level types on/off to focus on preferred levels

How to Use
Data Input
The indicator requires gamma exposure level data in CSV format. Default data is provided in the script settings:

Gamma Levels Dataset - Contains Call/Put Walls, Volatility Trigger, Zero Gamma, Large Gamma levels, and Combo levels for each instrument
Blind Spots Dataset - Contains liquidity gap levels for each instrument

To update levels: Copy new data into the text area inputs in the indicator settings. Data format must match the provided template.
Trading Applications
Regime Recognition: Use Zero Gamma as your market regime filter. Trade momentum/breakouts above it, mean reversion below it.
Wall Fades: Counter-trend plays into Call/Put Walls with tight stops beyond the wall. Expected hold rate: 70-80% on first test.
Wall-to-Wall Swings: Position trades from Put Wall to Call Wall (or reverse) with stops beyond entry wall. High reward/risk setups.
Divergence Confirmation: Wait for CVD divergence labels near gamma levels before entering. Combine with your order flow analysis.
Blind Spot Breakouts: Avoid picking tops/bottoms inside blind spot zones. Trade the acceleration after price clears these areas.
Session Level Integration: Look for confluence where gamma levels align with PDH/PDL/ONH/ONL for highest-probability setups.
Optimal Settings for Day Trading
NQ/ES Scalping:

Enable Distance Filter: 2.5%
Enable Nearest Level Highlighting
Show CVD Divergence Labels
Enable Summary Table
Enable Cross-Symbol Levels (ES on NQ)

Swing Trading:

Disable Distance Filter (see all levels)
Enable all level types
Focus on Wall-to-Wall distance
Use session levels for multi-day context

Risk Disclosure
This indicator displays structural market levels based on options positioning data. These levels are NOT predictive and do NOT guarantee price reactions. Always use proper risk management, confirm setups with price action and volume analysis, and never trade based solely on these levels.
Levels can and do break. Options positioning changes throughout the day. Use appropriate stop losses and position sizing.
Technical Notes

Maximum 500 lines and 500 labels due to Pine Script limitations
CVD calculation uses approximation method (buying volume = volume × (close - low) / (high - low))
Session definitions are based on regular trading hours (default 9:30-16:00 ET)
Distance filter applies to most levels but always shows Walls and Session levels by default
Divergence lookback period is customizable (default: 10 bars)
