- All the health insurers are going to raise prices starting 2026 which should improve the margins of healthcare insurers starting 2026

- We have only 3 months left to load up before fundamentals starts improving and start showing up in the numbers of earning reports.

- All the analyst estimates which have been lowered in last 6 months will be incorrect and UNH should comfortably beat those which will lead to re-rating of the stock and eventually it should trade above 450+ before June 2026

- Secondly, UNH is investing in AI/Data Science talent which will lead to improved operations as their AI projects gets in use. They have lot of employees and automating many internal workloads or for customers could really save millions of $$$ for them.

There are three main tailwinds for UNH in 2026

- Premium increase so that they can offset their losses because of higher MLR ratio

- AI/ML projects would lead to operational efficiency at scale

- Seasoned leadership who has decade of experience leading the UNH with market beating returns.

- There are lot of companies which will have slowdown in growth in 2026 whereas UNH has chosen to sandbag their guidance and realized the losses earlier which they could have spread across multiple quarters. This implies the expectations are low for UNH and 2025 is the year of dip and it will start growing from next year.

- Market is almost at all time highs, any fear in the market will lead to money rotating to defensive sector of the market. Therefore, risk/return favours staying long UNH for 2026 and accumulate as much as you can on any dips in the 2025

UNH has entered the GAP marked in green box today on Sep 11, 2025. Long way to go! it needs to close the gap at $380 and then try to test and eventually take down $400

- UNH went to $360 and then pulled back after dividend day. Currently, it's bull flagging and consolidating to continue it's target to fill the gap at $380 and then test the 200 SMA around $400 . This is a good price action and consolidation before running up gives me more confidence in the sustained turnaround and uptrend.
