The FVG Imbalance Map automatically detects and visualizes Fair Value Gaps (FVGs) from higher timeframes directly on your current chart — no manual timeframe switching needed. Each gap is labeled, color-coded, and extends in real time until it is invalidated or expires.

🔍 WHAT IS A FAIR VALUE GAP?

A Fair Value Gap is a 3-candle price imbalance where the wicks of candle A and C do not overlap. These areas often act as magnets for price, making them useful for entries, targets, and invalidation levels.

⚙️ FEATURES

— Multi-timeframe support: overlay 15m, 1h, and 4h FVGs on any lower chart
— Bullish and bearish FVGs are color-coded with a dashed midline for precise reference
— FVGs auto-extend to the right and disappear once invalidated

📖 HOW TO USE

Enable the timeframes you trade. FVGs appear as coloured zones on your chart. Watch for price reactions at the midline or the edges of the gap. Zones are removed automatically when the invalidation condition is met. Use the volume filter to focus on gaps formed during high-activity periods for stronger confluence. Combine with ORB Sessions to identify FVGs inside or near the opening range for high-probability setups.

v2.0 — Major update

iFVG detection: when a FVG is fully mitigated it automatically flips polarity and becomes an iFVG. The original zone is sealed at the mitigation bar and a new zone extends forward in the accent colour. The label updates to reflect the new direction.

Four invalidation modes: Touch, Midline, Full Fill (Wick) and Full Fill (Body). Previously only Wick and Midline were available.

ATR size filter: FVGs are now filtered against the ATR of their own timeframe instead of a fixed percentage. A 4h FVG is judged against the 4h ATR, not the chart ATR.

Prevent overlap: new option to skip FVGs whose price range overlaps an existing active zone. Higher timeframes claim space first.

Adjustable transparency: separate transparency sliders for FVGs and iFVGs.

Dedicated iFVG accent colour per theme for clear visual separation between FVGs and iFVGs.

Settings reorganised into logical groups: Zones, Settings, Filters, Appearance.

The 5m timeframe is now available alongside 15m, 1h and 4h. Disabled by default as 5m gaps form and fill quickly and work best for short-term intraday entries.
