To activate alert, you must manually create an alert. By selecting in 'Condition' TMA v0.42 and the option 'Any alert () function call'. The types of alerts can be found in the indicator settings. Each time the parameters are changed, a new alert must be created.
Good tool for estimation, but in no way should it be used in "signaling" mode since the signals are going to change because of recalculating and repainting.
Love this indicator. Thank you. It is brilliant. BTW, I don't understand people whinging about it "repainting". It repaints because all indicators give signals based on settings, indicators don't predict price action, they follow it. So all indicators "repaint". Look at the RSI or Stochastic , as they repaint if you study them. Suggestion to users: You have to wait until the candle closes, then the signal won't repaint. [but that does not mean that the price action won't reverse as soon as you enter the trade. That is why you need to learn how to read price action. To get on the move earlier, simply sharpen the settings, and move to a lower time-frame. e.g. If you are using a 1 Hour chart, switch to a 30 minute or a 15 minute chart, and wait for that 15 or 30 minute candle to close, before taking the signal. Also have two more indicators to confirm before taking the trade. Right now all assets are crashing, so its not the market for playing long, unless you are really good at trading. If not sit and watch, and study people like Al Brooks. Hope this helps people searching for a way to make trading easy.
