A very simple indicator that marks the start of every month with a vertical line. But default the vertical line is gray with 80% transparency but you can customize the style/color/transparency as you like.
I hate crowded charts, bloated with all kind of crazy shapes and I created this indicator for two main reasons:
1. beginning/end of the month is an excellent pivot-point 2. to be simple, easy to customize and non-intrusive with the underlying chart
See the attached EURUSD daily chart, at the beginning of every month the price pivoted up and down, can you figure out what happens at the end of Dec 2019?

Small change to apply this indicator to another indicator (RSI, MA, etc)
love this.... seeing time is and flow is important... any plans to apply your monthly breaks to backgrounds such as behind RSI or Stochastic not just the price background window?

@BizkitBR, here you go, there are some Tradingview limitations but you should be able to apply "Month breaks" to many of the indicators (MA, RSI, etc).
very grateful to you this is what I was looking for a lot for a script I am new to this but that helps me a lot thanks really
1) how could a fund (background) be made instead of line
2) Check if you could help me as it could be already in a month but weekly and daily I will find out with your guide but if you could help me I would be very grateful
Cool indicator i was searching something like this for a long time. But i have a problem with it when i enable the indicator sometimes it goes in crash :(

@the_bejan, thank you for letting me know, I will fix the indicator but for now you can work around this issue by right clicking on price scale and check "Scale price chart only" option.
