Every stock is manipulated. And I don't mean this in a tinfoil conspiratorial way, but rather, that the market only works *because* everyone is trying to manipulate it for themselves without collusion. Sellers and Holders want the price as high as possible and will manipulate as good as they can. Buyers and shorters want the price as low as possible and will manipulate as good as they can.
The trading price is where the tug of war currently stands.
It has nothing to do with the fundamentals but all with perception and power of those two factions.
And technical analysis is a shortcut, trying to understand where this tug of war is at. That's why it sort of works, no matter what. And why it sometimes doesn't. It's a shortcut, not the silver bullet.
