@without_worries, most traders would find 5% risky, let alone 10% jfc. 2-3% is what you'll see most top tier traders use.

@ShoultzyBM, Well it depends on your appetite for risk versus your certainty on the probabilities. If I'm 95% certain a trade is going in my direction I'll scale up to 20%, depending on market size of the asset & liquidity.
