don't short it yet, but doubts are creeping in? :-) - it'll be a blood bath for these alts that have seen values increase 100-200% in no time at all...

@tylergriffsmith, I entered in January, everything only want to go up. Bought Stellar at $0.0036 - 2 months later $0.62 - I was totally in the 'New Paradigm' category. I heard a few rumours Bitcoin was going to correct buy shrugged it off. At that time Stellar was 3000 sats.
It was a frenzy, this is it we thought. Onward and upwards. Tens of thousands wiped off in a matter of 14-20 days when Bitcoin corrected. That was around the end of July. The alt-coins really suffer.
So I'm thinking to pair with Dollar coins, not just BTC's, or indeed hold in dollars only. The lesson learned is corrections will happen no matter how good it looks. I think you have to live it before you can plan for it.

Although I got a little confused as you were talking about Stellar with two currencies; fiat and sats.
I couldn't discern which one you held, and then which one caused you pain because you held through a correction?
And also -- by a 'bitcoin correction', did that mean all alt coins suffered and went down hill too?
If so it seems that if bitcoin goes down, alts go down, if bitcoin goes up, alts go down. LOL!
