Hi, I went through some of your youtube live trading videos and am fond of your quality content. Great work!
I have been trading supply and demand zone on FX for half a year now and is mostly breaking even. I trade off 5min timeframe and use 1min for entry, my R:R is 1:2 and the reason is that after backtesting many hours it seemed almost impossible to have 1:1, let alone higher reward than risk. I have no problem drawing the zones and telling where the trend is going/ready for reversal. But often once I entered the trade, I do find it go against me for a while before going for the direction I aimed for. I am guessing that my entry is not at the optimal level, but if I set a limit order, often it doesn't get filled, and if I enter at market price, I lose a few pips from slippage.
I hope that with your experiences, you can perhaps point me in the right direction and have a better method/crietira for entry to improve the R:R. Thank you in advance.
